We ate in a charming little alley in Vasto one August evening. The restaurant is expensive, but the quality is there and you pay for it. The dishes were well-balanced, the ingredients were rigorously fresh, and the staff was attentive. We'll definitely return.

OSTERIA DEL PAVONE IS A RESTAURANT WITH A LONG TRADITION. IN RECENT YEARS, IT HAS ALSO ADDITED AN OUTDOOR SPACE IN A QUAINT ALLEY IN THE HISTORIC CENTER, WHERE A CENTURY-OLD VINE STRETCHES ABOUT THREE METERS IN THE HEIGHT. THE GOURMET CUISINE FEATURES SOPHISTICATED DISHES PREPARED WITH LOCAL INGREDIENTS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. THE RAW CUISINE IS EXCELLENT AND FRESH, THE APPETIZERS ARE DELICIOUS AND NEVER MINIMAL, AND THE FIRST AND MAIN COURSES ARE WELL-MEALED. THE PASTRY ALSO PRESENTS DELICIOUS PRODUCTS. THE WINE CELLAR IS EXCELLENT, COMPLEMENTED BY THE EXPERTISE OF THE DINING STAFF. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, IT'S A PERFECT EVENING.

A very good discovery. In Vasto for work: they recommended this place. Excellent choice. Seafood at the table, innovation and tradition. A convincing format. Fair prices. Only comment: more relaxed service, good staff, the owner a little strict with orders. The fact remains that I had a great evening. Recommended.

26/08/2025: We had a seafood aperitif. The gin and tonic tasted only of tonic water, and the seafood appetizers weren't particularly good. Two small plates of surimi. A tuna ball, I presume, had a bitter/acidic flavor. These tastings didn't convince me at all. The calamari in tomato sauce was good. The land-based aperitif seemed better, but I expected something else, even fewer, from the seafood menu. The portion was very generous, but of a higher quality.
