A tiny, typically Roman trattoria, very retro.
It feels like a 1950s setting.
Very friendly staff, Roman cuisine on the menu.
An additional plus is that despite being a small space, with the kitchen very close by, it wasn't overpowered by the smell of cooking, as unfortunately happens in other places.
My clothes (and hair) still smelled as good as they did when I was young.
This is very important to me.

The amatriciana sauce was phenomenal...
Pasta (I like it more al dente... but I'm exaggerating 😊) chicory... just the right amount of spicy... Delicious tiramisu...
The staff really pampered us. Top.

Recommended by a colleague, I finally managed to organize a dinner with a friend here at Edmondo.
The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly and courteous, and it was a totally relaxing dinner, where I enjoyed their excellent Roman-style cuisine.
A platter of two appetizers, a first course, two second courses, and a liter of wine were €35 per person.

My compliments to all the staff, starting with the owner. They're very welcoming, the food is excellent, and the price is reasonable given the quality. Unfortunately, there's limited seating, so I recommend booking. Unfortunately, it's closed on Sundays. It's located 500 meters from Piazzale Clodio. There's no parking, but it's worth a visit.

Compliments to the owner and all the staff, very professional, fast and demanding with every request, limited seating, shame. I recommend booking, excellent Hostaria Romana, accurate food, hospitality, courtesy is at home, compliments 👍 to everyone, shame Sunday is the day. Closed.... It's worth it, I recommend it, 1km from Piazzale Clodio, ATAC bus terminus.

A typical Roman trattoria, one of those increasingly difficult to find. Well-crafted, tasty, and fast Roman dishes. The staff is quick and always helpful. The spartan atmosphere is as befits an old-school trattoria.

Hostaria Edmondo was recommended to me. I've been there a couple of times and had a great time. I was looking for my beloved cacio e pepe. I found it, and it's delicious. Other delicious traditional Roman dishes await you, including artichokes, chicory, pasta all'amatriciana, and more.
