Hostaria Edmondo was recommended to me. I've been there a couple of times and had a great time. I was looking for my beloved cacio e pepe. I found it, and it's delicious. Other delicious traditional Roman dishes await you, including artichokes, chicory, pasta all'amatriciana, and more.

This restaurant was recommended by a colleague in Rome and guarantees an authentic and genuine experience.
I can confirm that this is not your typical restaurant overrun by tourists; in fact, almost all the diners are locals, groups, and families. The dishes are simple yet tasty, authentic, and generous, with a true respect for traditional Roman cuisine.
The chef prepares everything by hand, and the homey character shines through in the succulent and distinctive dishes. The owner, Michele, is incredibly welcoming, and he knows how to put guests at ease, engaging in conversation while remaining discreet.
Recommended. I will be back.

We had carbonara and oxtail sauce; both dishes were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be improved were the portions of the first courses, which were a bit on the small side. Given the pre-stadium crowd, an extra 30 or 40 grams of pasta certainly wouldn't have ruined the restaurant. The prices could have been fair if the portions were more like a taverna and less like a gourmet restaurant.

A Roman restaurant that fully honors its culinary traditions. We've been twice and have found the daily specials to be consistently varied and well-prepared. Traditional staples like gricia and carbonara are truly delicious. The chef is a friendly person who demonstrates a passion for what she does. Highly recommended.

Piccola osteria tipica romana, pochi tavoli e atmosfera familiare. Servizio amichevole, primi ben fatti (carbonara, gricia e cacio e uovo) e secondi davvero ottimi, in particolare bistecca e coda alla vaccinara. Prezzi giusti. Da provare.
