A treat in Trastevere. Going to Capo de Fero is just that... good, simple food and attentive service, thanks to Cesare's professionalism. The Torta della Nonna is wonderful!

I fell in love in Rome with Fire. Fero means fire, and this place commits to the flame. Start with the mussels, steaming, garlicky, and swimming in a broth you’ll want to drink. Tip the bowl and go for it. Or, ask for bread for the famous soak. Then comes the Cacio e Pepe. A Roman classic. So peppery and creamy. This is the best Cacio e Pepe I’ve ever had.

We went and had spaghetti with clams, ham, and melon, plus tiramisu. Everything was delicious! And Corrado's attention was amazing! 5 ⭐️ Thank you so much!!

The carbonara and the amatriciana were delicious, and the portions were huge. It wasn't as touristy as other restaurants in Trastevere.

Pranzo di Pasquetta a due passi da Santa Maria in Trastevere. Un vero tuffo nel passato con locale vecchio tipo ma accogliente, personale diversamente giovane e che ne ha vista tanta di gente, proprio tanta. La semplicità è la qualità rendono unico questo ristorante dove si mangia bene e si ricorda il pranzo della domenica al ristorante. Ottimi i tonnarellu cacio e pepe, buoni ed originali i rigatoni "democratici" con crema di parmigiano e salsiccia sbriciolata finemente. Eccellente il carciofo alla romana. Visto passare abbacchio molto interessante. Porzioni generose e prezzi modici, anche per le bevande. Andateci senza riserve.

24/06/2025: I have been to many places, but I will never forget this place.. everything was wonderful, the people work there with all their heart and soul and you could feel it in the food! Cheap prices and perfect quality! Friendly family service. 10/10 everything :) I can only recommend it
22/06/2025: A small, presumably family-run inn. You're served by the nonna herself, who doesn't speak English very well, but is very friendly. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. We paid €37 for two main courses, a bottle of water, a large beer (note: 0.66l), and two espressos. The restaurant seats about 20 people inside. We highly recommend it!

16/07/2025: We saw this place on the Michelin Guide and came to try it out. We booked a reservation pretty far in advance, which I recommend. The service and atmosphere were wonderful! For the food, we chose the option for a tasting menu, where each person can choose from a few items on a set menu for €36 each. While the appetizers were incredible, the rest of the courses were just alright. Maybe a hot take but I felt that the food wasn’t too memorable. Even so, our waiter was amazing and we had a great time!
