Tucked behind the main streets of San Gimignano is this quaint restaurant. Lots of options but we tried the Ragu and Ravioli. My ravioli lacked flavor for my preference, but my husband loved his papardelle duck ragu☺️
I had to try the famous local wine! It was a good mood setter🍷

Super positive experience, I appreciated their soups, vegetable minestrone and cereal soup, taste and tradition, really good. The very cheerful owner is fun, we felt at ease. I recommend it

Ottimo connubio di gusti profumi arte e Bellezza nella meravigliosa terra di San Gimignano. Locale semplice, prezzo adeguato più delle "gioiellerie sulla via principale ", servizio cortese e celere. Ottimi i salumi, la pasta Bacco con tartufo e pecorino fuso..meritano anche incantucci con vin santo ( santo che invita a profonda devozione.. .). La vernaccia della casa (ottima)scalda...e poi rinfresca...quindi attua un ciclo.infinito..perfetto
Insegno inglese e insisto nell' incentivare il patrimonio enogastronomico italiano!!! W il docg..la vita è un viaggio e va vissuta viaggiando...

Excellent combination of tastes, perfumes, art and beauty in the wonderful land of San Gimignano. Simple place, more reasonable price than the "jewellery shops on the main street", courteous and quick service. The cured meats, the Bacco pasta with truffle and melted pecorino cheese are excellent... also worth the incantucci with vin santo (a saint that invites deep devotion...). The house Vernaccia (excellent) warms...and then cools...so it implements an infinite...perfect cycle
I teach English and I insist on encouraging the Italian food and wine heritage!!! W the docg..life is a journey and must be lived by travelling...

we tried the ravioli, risotto, and 2 pizzas
the risotto was mediocre, the tiramisu was actually too creamy without much other fillings. the taste was one-dimensional
the ravioli was good, the prosciutto and truffle pizza was great. the olive, artichoke, mushroom and ham pizza was a little unorthodox and did not really work well together
overall the price is too high for the quality of food and it’s not very worth it. but other than that it’s a decent lunch spot. the lady who served us gave us great service

Nice tavern but we had an evening with families with children who weren't very well supervised. For the rest the service is good but in my opinion the problem lies in the quantities. The cutting board is sad, only some cold cuts with little bread (14 euros). After which two first courses of pasta, the pappardelle with wild boar were very few, the pici a little more. The quality is good but we left overall dissatisfied

We had a very good dinner at this restaurant. Vegetable flan sprinkled with pecorino cream, hot buffalo caprese and finally gnocchi with cheese and pepper. Everything delicious, generous portions. Excellent value for money. Very nice staff! Highly recommended!

Buon ristorante in una via laterale, non lontana dal centro. Personale gentile. Piatti ben cucinati, ma senza particolari spunti. Ho assaggiato i tagliolini al tartufo e ossobuco: entrambi consigliati. Unica pecca i tre euro di coperto, a mio avviso eccessivi per un locale di questo tipo.

Good restaurant in a side street, not far from the centre. Friendly staff. Well cooked dishes, but without particular ideas. I tried the tagliolini with truffle and ossobuco: both recommended. The only flaw is the three euro cover charge, which in my opinion is excessive for a place of this type.
