Fast service, excellent first courses and super super friendly staff!
We chose two first courses with truffles, one of which was recommended by the chef: Ravioli with truffle and saffron. We certainly didn't regret it!!! 😍

We went on the recommendation of the hotel, and it was a very good recommendation. Being a weekday, there were hardly any people there, which is wonderful because it saves you the usual wait. They treated us wonderfully, we had a better dinner, and they put up with us trying to speak to them in Italian. And we had a longer-than-usual after-dinner conversation. The house wine, which was delicious, helped in this regard. In short, we would return without hesitation. The food was excellent. We chose the risotto and large ravioli, accompanied by grilled vegetables, and everything was incredible. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent, because we would have left the next day without a return visit.

It's a place away from the bustling, hot main street. The food is good without too many culinary pretensions. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is fast and friendly. €43 for lasagna ragout, tagliatelle with pork, and three Moreto beers. San Gimignano is an ultra-touristy town, so it's a good choice.

We had the opportunity to eat here twice. First lunch, after which we booked a table for the evening without hesitation. The lamb was so good that I wanted to order a second portion. In the evening the steak - great, and for dessert Tiramisu, which I liked so much that out of greed I took a second portion. If I ever get to San Gimignano again, you can be sure of another visit. Thanks for everything.

Bella osteria tipica, con personale cordiale e disponibile. Buoni piatti tradizionali, consigliato vivamente il cinghiale, da accompagnare con uno degli ottimi vini disponibili.
