This was a wonderful local Italian meal. Service excellent, atmosphere local Italian. Food was really good.

I went to eat with a friend because it was recommended. We ate very well, the dishes were plentiful and carefully prepared, and truly delicious. The staff was very welcoming, the service excellent, and the food even better. I thank the owner, Piero, who is a very nice person, Andrea, who is also very friendly, and the rest of the staff. I had a truly wonderful meal! The osteria is a welcoming and well-kept place, with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The staff was extremely kind, always smiling, polite, and very helpful. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and made with top-quality ingredients. A truly positive experience—I'll definitely be back!

Very good experience in a place far from the main streets and crowds. We were a group of 6 people and everyone was very impressed of the quality and the quantity of their order. We recommend this Osteria. 100% you’ll don’t regret to eat here.

Below average food. Prosciutto and melon was dry from being left out too long. Pizza was definitely below average. Try somewhere else.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **A perfect meal — and truly kind people** We had such a wonderful experience here that I felt compelled to write this review. The food was excellent across the board — the **minestrone soup** in particular was exceptional (and we’ve been ordering minestrone every night this week, so we can confidently say this was the best!). The **ravioli** and **mushroom pasta** were also absolutely delicious, and even the **house wine** was the tastiest we’ve had during our time in Tuscany. What I especially loved is that this is a place where you can get **basic food done perfectly** — beautifully made pasta, comforting flavors, and real care in the cooking. Many of the higher-rated restaurants in the area lean heavily toward complex meat dishes, but this was exactly what we were hoping for: simple, honest, and delicious. On top of that, the kindness of the staff went above and beyond. They **let us sit inside before they even opened** so we could relax, and when we unexpectedly couldn’t find a taxi back to Siena, they **helped us contact a company and even spoke to them in Italian on our behalf** — truly saving the evening for us. We left feeling not just well fed but genuinely cared for. If you’re visiting San Gimignano, I can’t recommend this place enough.
