Great service and fantastic food

The cutest place and the best food of my entire stay in Venice! I asked for wine, and it was delicious (a light, salty, cherry-scented red). The marinated cod (recommended by the chef) melted in your mouth, served with slices of crusty bread and grilled polenta. Even though it was July, they served me Venetian-style liver (delicious and perfectly cooked). And dessert! A Venetian pudding, firm and fragrant like freshly baked bread, with a generous helping of caramel on top. They wanted to offer me a bitter liqueur, but I had to decline because I wanted to savor the aftertaste for as long as possible. The prices are competitive (much less than restaurants in the piazzas or main streets!) and honest, and the staff is kind and available, even for advice and conversation. I really hope to return!
