Hopduvel In Milano

05/12/2024: I was passing through Via Manzoni and I found myself in front of Don Lisander, I booked and went in. Apart from the surprise of the heated door handle, the elegance of the room decorated for next Christmas, the preparation of the service and the kind and discreet welcome. I had the culatello (which melted in your mouth) and the venison with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Everything was really excellent. Panettone with excellent zabaglione and coffee. Wine: a glass of Prosecco from Conegliano and a Chianti. I knew the place from having been there in the summer a few years ago, but the room in the winter is really nice. I'll definitely be back!

20/10/2024: Restaurant in the center of Milan where everything, absolutely everything, more than lives up to expectations. The owner Stefano welcomes customers as if they were family, the cuisine is spectacular (risotto and ossobuco not even our grandmothers make them so good) and the staff indulges every whim of even the most avid pains in the ass, like me. Very characteristic location, super-stocked wine cellar with top quality labels. Then the final blow comes from the Don Lisander cake: It's not cake, it's not panettone, it's just pure goodness. And proportionately it costs less than a trattoria. SEVEN STARS
