Good food. We booked through The Fork. The only downside is the bathrooms, which aren't exactly clean and, most importantly, don't lock.

We had lunch inside because it was very hot outside. The atmosphere was nice and elegant. We chose this place because it was also recommended for gluten-free options, but unfortunately, it doesn't have a great selection. Despite everything, we ate very well, even though the pasta was very al dente, especially for the kids.

An elegant and welcoming restaurant in the heart of Matera. Lucanian cuisine revisited with flair, beautifully presented and flavorful. Quick and friendly service, with attentive and helpful staff. Excellent value. Highly recommended for a special dinner or a relaxed lunch.

11/08/2025: During our long drive from Marsala to Puglia, we stopped at this café for a coffee break. A perfect choice! Excellent coffee at the very reasonable price of €1. The staff were very friendly, and—important for travelers—the bathrooms were clean and available. Highly recommended!

Girotondo di pizza via Ridola

29/07/2025: Excellent takeout and sliced pizza in the center of Matera. Just steps away is a spectacular panoramic view. Friendly and fast staff. Delicious pizza and panzerotti. We ordered and enjoyed it outside.
26/07/2025: We started with a small hiccup: a new girl took our order and, whether out of excitement or something else, forgot it. They were very kind to apologize and admit their mistake, which is a credit to us. The pizza was well-cooked and the panzerotto was delicious. Excellent!!
