A wonderful experience in the Sassi of Matera. A charming location and unique atmosphere. The orecchiette with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and parmesan shavings were excellent: a simple yet truly delicious dish. Friendly and attentive service. Everything was perfect, highly recommended.

Not sure why so many give this place a negative review. I gave it a try and i cloudnt understand it. Server where very friendly. We had some difficulties understanding eachother but with my english and some gesture it worked out. Food was nice and quick. Give it a shot dont lissen to the negative reviews and see with your own eyes.

It's only accessible on foot. We ordered bruschetta and a traditional first course, which were good, but we paid as if it were a wedding reception. We recommend lowering the prices.

I had a great time. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent local food. I recommend a very traditional dish, gnocchi al crusco. Compliments to the chef.

We went to this typical restaurant in Matera, ate on the terrace, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. An experience to be repeated. Congratulations to all the staff.

11/09/2025: I bought some delicious sweets from this pastry shop.
31/08/2025: Pasticceria Carlone has been my go-to shop in Nova Siri for years. The fresh pastries are excellent, but their highlight is undoubtedly their almond pastries: I won't describe them because the only way to understand is to try them! The icing on the cake? The owners' courtesy, always available and friendly.
