Passing through Foligno we found this hamburger house run by young guys. I have to say my compliments! I took a hamburger of about 220 gr of Chianina and a great sandwich arrived accompanied by a German beer on tap nice and cold as I like it. Just one piece of advice: the milk bread of the hamburger was really very crunchy making it difficult to eat a sandwich almost fifteen centimeters high.

I ate at this place for dinner, it's not very big but it's welcoming, it also has outside tables so if the weather permits you can sit outside. There were 2 of us for dinner and we ate a sandwich called "Lu sfonno" of mammoth dimensions, I didn't know how to bite it, it was delicious with about 300g of Chianina beef hamburger, all accompanied by an excellent double malt beer. While my friend ate a sliced ​​Angus steak, which I must say wasn't really that much, accompanied by lots of chips and salad; he, being a teetotaler, drank water. In the end we spent about €23 each, I must say the quality/price ratio is excellent.

Second time I go there while being in Foligno, this time I went back on purpose to try their 100g Chianina sandwiches, (the first time I had taken ½ very good chicken accompanied by their rustic chips). Today I took a Little American sandwich and rustic chips plus a 66cl Ichnusa in a bottle, coffee and 1 Amaro del Capo.... Yes I loaded up a bit being alone. Final price €27.90. For the quality and quantity the price is more than fair. But let's get to the important part.... Very good and crunchy spelt sandwich with onion rings and BBQ sauce.... Really compliments. A tip for your sandwiches I would pair a beer ideal to accompany the sandwich/hamburger with the dish etc. Because the sweetness of the BBQ sauce of the delicious sandwich that I took did not go well with the filtered Ichnusa. Final evaluation I recommend if you are passing through Foligno and you want to eat for free it is ideal. Compliments also to the Boss of the house very kind and courteous.

La cameriera è di una gentilezza e di una disponibilità disarmanti, il posto è molto carino, l'ambiente rilassato, il cibo ottimo. Occhio quando ordinate, le porzioni sono tutte abbondantissime!

The moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding—breathtaking views, timeless charm, and a peacefulness that’s hard to put into words. But what truly made it unforgettable was the warmth and care from Giorgia and her family, who own and run the Castello. Giorgia, one of the owners, was also our wedding planner. She was incredible—kind, calm, and always there for us. She helped us with everything and made the entire planning experience feel smooth and joyful. Our welcome dinner had to be moved indoors due to rain, but it turned into one of our favorite memories—guests moving between the cozy rooms and the fresh air outside, sipping Aperols under a glowing post-rain sunset. It felt spontaneous and absolutely perfect. On the wedding day, just before dinner, a sudden thunderstorm hit. Giorgia, her team, and our amazing florist 'Leandro Flowers' worked together like magic to move everything inside the Castello. What could have been a disaster became one of the most beautiful, candlelit scenes we could have imagined. And the food… absolutely unforgettable. The pasta alla norcina was an 11/10, and every single dish—from the welcome dinner to the midnight snacks—was perfect. Even with 170 guests, everything ran seamlessly. The service, the quality, the flow—flawless. Castello di Petrata is not just a venue—it’s a place full of heart, soul, and people who truly care. We will carry this place in our hearts forever.
