Gli “Haiku”
sono poesie giapponesi di 17 sillabe, suddivise in tre versi (5-7-5). Sono caratterizzati dalla loro semplicità e dall'attenzione alla natura e alle stagioni, spesso includendo un riferimento stagionale… ecco, oggi 6 giugno, abbiamo pranzato ( solo in 3) in un luogo semplice e dove i cibi guardano costantemente alla natura ed alla sua stagionalità … ed è vegano e vegetariano …
e con uno sguardo al … sushi ( che se sei vecchio ti servono senza le bacchette 😂) !

Niente da dire ma… ieri forse non funzionava bene la cappa, pertanto il fumo e l’odore di olio rendeva l’aria “tipo Londra” !
Ma vuoi mettere … e non ti dico dei wc!
Ieri solo acqua … ma Prosit lo stesso!!!

If you are in Palermo and want a real culinary experience, Haiku is the right place.
First of all, there are some very nice tables outside to eat. You should definitely try all the dishes, which are made with local products and, reading the menu, with a lot of care and attention. Furthermore, it must be said that the portions are really very generous.
The celeriac sticks were really special and the pappardelle were no exception.
I would return to Palermo just for this wonderful place!

Excellent high quality food, best vegan known, never found such tasty vegan food, neither in Milan, nor in other Italian cities. Easter lunch with my enthusiastic non-vegan sisters.

I found out about this restaurant thanks to my girlfriend and I must say that she recommended it very well.
Top quality of the dishes, very intimate and welcoming environment and highly trained and very friendly staff.
I will definitely return.

A really great vegan dining experience in the centre of Palermo.
The portions were huge and you’d be easily forgiven for thinking the starters were mains due to their size.
Dishes full of flavour, service was fast and attentive and the place had a few people with low volume music playing so it was a very comfortable place to spend a few hours eating fantastic food.
Prices for some dishes seem a little high, like the mushroom capriccio, but it was balanced out with the cost of other dishes.
If you’re someone who wants good food that doesn’t involve killing animals then you’re in for a great treat here!

We visited this wonderful restaurant yesterday and had a wonderful time!
The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was AMAZING from start to finish! The portions were generous, and every dish we ate tasted perfect. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a relaxed atmosphere.
It's a shame we don't live in Palermo; otherwise, we would eat at Haiku regularly.

Vado in questo locale da anni, non sono vegana ma apprezzo ogni piatto di questo ristorante accogliente e informale. Cibo di qualità, cucinato bene, clientela tranquilla e prezzi davvero ottimi.
