Excellent ice cream at a really affordable price

I had high expectations given the great reviews, they have many ways to enrich the ice cream, good chocolate cream, maybe I took the wrong flavors, but it seemed too sweet for my taste. Parking impossible, for just a few minutes I got a fine.

In the vibrant heart of Via Nomentana, where modernity gracefully touches the vestiges of a more contemplative time, stands Gelateria Guttilla, a small temple of taste and artisanal care. The place welcomes with sober elegance and offers the palate a range of flavors that, in their composition, recall archaic memories and Mediterranean visions. The creaminess of the ice creams at the counter, the refined choice of ingredients and the composure in the service suggest a philosophy based on research, tradition and a taste that aspires to the purity of simple and well-made things. Worthy of praise is the attention to detail, both in the packaging and in the presentation, which envelops the experience in an almost ceremonial guise. The cakes are a cupid in the heart of the golden soul. However – and here the soul of the reviewer is called to exercise that critical honesty that distinguishes praise from reverence – one cannot remain silent about a slight dissonant note: the stick, presented with fervent eloquence as a hymn to mango, revealed itself in its flavor devoid of the vibrant solarity that constitutes the essence of that tropical fruit. More than mango, it seemed a vague reference to the generic banana vulgaris, almost a promised and never achieved taste mirage. A small deception, perhaps unintended, but perceived. For this reason, with grace and a sense of proportion, we subtract a star from perfection: not to deny the value of the work, but to encourage it to an even higher coherence between form and substance. 4 stars therefore, bright and deserved, in the hope that the next tasting can restore to the mango its full, proud and unmistakable identity.

Excellent ice cream shop with quality definitely above average. I leave 4 stars because I took the Mango and White Chocolate ice cream stick but unfortunately the perceived taste was BANANA!!! The mango was absolutely absent. I recommend trying the pistachio stick which instead incredibly tasted just like Pistachio.

La miglior gelateria in assoluto a Roma, superiore a tante altre più blasonate. La produzione a vista, l'eccellenza nelle materie prime e non ultimo il rapporto qualità prezzo la rende la n. 1 per gusto, qualità e prezzo! Ci vado almeno una volta a settimana e la consiglio vivamente.

Consigliato da amici,molto buoni i gelati con ampia scelta di gusti.Molto cremoso e delicato.Vasta scelta anche di torte di vario tipo.Gentilissimo lo staff, pulito il bagno e gli ambienti comuni.Top per un palato goloso.
