Easily accessible, but the food is full of oil. Convenient for when I need to go to the bathroom since they always let me (even if they give me some mean but understandable looks). Too bad it's closed on Tuesdays (I have to find another place to pee). The potato croquettes are really good. I don't know if I recommend it to drivers; I don't have a license.

Passing through Matera I was struck by this place in the center a few steps from the station. Very welcoming, very kind staff and excellent food and excellent prices. Super recommended.

We had a very good time. We got three panzerotti and a burger. Food is very good and tasty. If you want to eat abundantly and well with little money, stop here. The guy who served us was very good.

Ottima rosticceria, panzarotti gustosi, leggeri e ben fritti. Non solo panzarotti, anche speciali cornetti salati, arancini e tante altre sfiziosita'. Se passate da Matera, da non perdere.

04/12/2024: I was in Montescaglioso with a group and we had the pleasure of having lunch at the Rock Oasis. The experience was fantastic. The welcome was impeccable: the staff, in particular Stefano, was attentive, kind and ready to satisfy our every need. Lunch was excellent, with typical traditional Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The quiet and family atmosphere made the moment truly special. We also visited the surrounding area and the rooms of the farmhouse: simple, but with that touch of ''rusticity''. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic cuisine and a welcome that makes you feel at home. The icing on the cake was the large fireplace, further warming the Christmas atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
05/11/2024: Nice experience in this property, cleanliness, courtesy and helpfulness of the owners. The breakfasts prepared by the lady are delicious and the dinners are no less with exquisite products expertly prepared at a good price
