First time in Caltagirone, and we came across this little place by accident. What a brilliant eatery, and what a lucky find it was. It's casual, local, down-to-earth, and the owner was just fantastic: super helpful and kind to both locals and tourists. This place isn't exactly well-kept and maintained, but who cares when the food is fresh and genuine. Highly recommend Gusto e Arte. Definitely deserves our cinque stelle ★★★★★

Excellent products, well prepared and served, informal and welcoming environment

I won't add photos because you have to go there to understand... found it by chance on Google, and unable to find it because the navigator was going crazy, we called him for directions. He welcomed us with a beautiful smile and an exquisitely friendly manner, as if he had always known us. After having seated us, he immediately served us fresh water and, shortly after, announced that, if we liked, there was a pasta with aubergines and tomatoes on the fire for us. Then he would serve us a salad. We ate so well at a very honest price but the kindness of this person is priceless. Thanks Totò. Once again Sicily teaches us hospitality. And it enchants us.

Il locale è situato in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla famosa scalinata. È stata una cena con amici, in posizione prima fila, per ammirare la processione del Santo Patrono San Giacomo ed il proprietario ho disposto tavolo e sedie in prima fila. Abbiamo mangiato un ricco antipasto tra affettati, tra cui consiglio la mortadella, pomodorini conditi con cipolla, capperi, olio e sale, un primo di pasta con sugo di melanzane e ricotta salata e costine di carne, che si sono sciolte in bocca. Pane, acqua, due bottiglie di vino, prosecco e spritz...insomma tutto molto buono a prezzo favoloso. Il proprietario Totò, simpatico e disponibile, oltre che bravo. Le cameriere molto attente e disponibili. Insomma una gran bella serata tra amici e buon cibo, in onore di san Giacomo. Lo consiglio.

Quelques tables dans un coin tranquille proche du centre. Pas de menu mais le patron vous sert une super entrée et un très bon plat de pâtes pour une trentaine d euros pour deux. Ne pas hésiter, vraiment top.

Catering at a friend's house but the taste doesn't change, everything is delicious, superlative pasta...Totò you are great

The greatest small little Italian restaurant. Extremely lovely owner who enjoys serving. Would definitely recommend
