We enjoyed everything; we visited twice. We especially recommend the lasagna and the snails. But you should definitely make a reservation.

Il Gusto 'Bistro' is a must-try. Delicious food with authentic flavors that showcase local produce. A welcoming place with impeccable staff. The service is also excellent. For anyone passing through Spello, it's a must-try. Recommended.

Food was okay for a quick lunch, bit more expensive compared to other restaurants we visited in Gubbio & Assisi. Gave a star less as everything felt rushed. It was very clear that they wanted to have there customers finish as soon as possible to fill the table again with new customers. If I want to have a quick lunch I could also grab a sandwich or go to the Mac, I'm not paying for just food, you pay for the service and the comfortable time at the table.

We dined at this restaurant during our visit to Spello. Having researched online, I preferred to book a few days in advance, especially since it was the evening of Ferragosto (August 15th). When we showed up at the appointed time, the table was already set, and we didn't even have to wait a minute to be seated, despite there being a line outside. We had the first course of the day (maltagliati with truffles), mixed bruschetta, suckling pig with baked potatoes, and a couple of desserts. I admit I haven't remembered such a delicious dinner in a while; all the courses were delicious, especially the suckling pig, which was incredible. What was surprising, and in my opinion excellent, was that after dinner we didn't feel bloated or heavy at all, which means the food was top-notch. I highly recommend trying their cuisine; it's definitely worth it. Excellent value for money, too.

Wonderful place, friendly and very kind staff, and what can I say about Elisa, the owner, who is incredibly friendly and kind, attentive to everything down to the smallest details, the food is excellent, we are Neapolitan and we truly found excellent cuisine. We will definitely return ☺️☺️

A triumph of hospitality and flavor in the heart of Spello: Gusto Bistrot is much more than a restaurant. I've always thought Romagna was the undisputed home of hospitality. I have to think again. Because there's a corner of Umbria, in Spello to be precise, where hospitality has found two extraordinary ambassadors: Leonardo and Lisa, creators and custodians of the experience called Gusto Bistrot. Exemplary professionals, impeccable hosts, capable of transforming a simple lunch or dinner into a moment of authentic pleasure and sharing. They don't just serve dishes: they offer emotions. With grace, passion, and a natural elegance that captivates. Leonardo and Lisa are the King and Queen of a court of sincere flavors and genuine smiles. But every self-respecting sovereign needs an entourage to match, and in this case, the staff deserves an honorable mention: attentive, friendly, fast, and always with the right smile at the right time. The cuisine? A symphony of delicacies. Generous dishes, carefully prepared and generously served, at more than fair prices. It's rare to find such a perfect balance between quality, quantity, and atmosphere... We'll definitely be back soon... And we can't recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a culinary experience that feels like home, but with a touch of special occasions.

(On the night of Ferragosto) Delicious, if I had an Italian grandmother, I'm sure this is the kind of wonderful, traditional food she would make. To start mixed bruccetta and the cheese and ham board was exceptional, we then had the meat balls and they were perfect, the tiramisu was so light and fluffy it had us licking our plates clean. Really good food, fantastic service, in a very beautiful location.

Very nice place, friendly and very efficient staff. The dishes are traditional, excellent quality, and the wines are equally good! If you're passing through Spello, it's a must-see!

Alle 12 stavano aprendo e ispirandoci menu e prezzo abbiamo deciso di fermarci. Scelta giusta visto anche la coda in attesa quando tiri i tavoli erano pieni. Bruschette, tagliere salumi e formaggi tipici con miele e marmellata e torta al testo: tutto davvero buonissimo. Un buon calice di Montefalco Rosso e ancora uno strangozzo al tartufo in due. Prezzo onesto e cibo buono. Consigliato!

L'istinto ci ha portato in questo locale e non ci siamo pentiti affatto. Menù con una scelta giusta per numero di portate , materie prime di livello ottimi i vini. Accoglienza e ospitalità non comune. Una bella esperienza!
