This restaurant offers traditional Apulian cuisine, with traditional dishes presented so you can feast your eyes on them before you eat them. The dishes are scenic, carefully crafted, and sophisticated, but their beauty quickly gives way to flavor, thanks to the excellent ingredients for which Puglia is so renowned: olive oil, tomatoes, and, of course, fish, and much more. The service is elegant without being pretentious, and the food is accompanied by an equally impressive selection of local and national wines. Finally, every meal begins and ends with a treat: a small appetizer offered on the house (sun-dried tomato puree with capers) and a taste of the typical "sporcamuss" (small, sweet, and sour biscuits) provided as a fitting end to the meal. The atmosphere is relaxed yet informal, and perhaps the restaurant is more suited to a clientele aged 30 and up, rather than a very young crowd. Suitable for those who consider a good meal an experience to be enjoyed, alone, as a couple, or with friends. Highly recommended.

The Opera restaurant, on Via Piccinni in Bari, truly won me over. Beyond the top-notch cuisine, what immediately strikes you is the extraordinary setting, the result of the recent renovation by architect Floriana Ferrante. The spaces are elegant and refined, with furnishings designed down to the smallest detail: refined materials, warm lighting, and a color palette that creates a perfect balance between modernity and comfort. The atmosphere is enveloping, welcoming, almost theatrical, capable of making every moment special without ever being overbearing. The attention to detail perfectly matches the quality of the dishes, enhancing the gastronomic experience and transforming it into something complete and memorable. The service is also impeccable: attentive, friendly, and professional. Ultimately, Opera is not just a restaurant, but a place where cuisine, design, and atmosphere interact harmoniously. An experience worth trying again and again.

Located in the heart of Bari, the restaurant is welcoming and refined. We've been there several times, a few years ago, and we've returned, having always enjoyed the food. The menu is varied, focusing more on fish than meat, with beautifully presented and excellent quality dishes. For starters, we enjoyed: Seafood Gratin with Scented Bread, Vegetarian Compote, and Warm Octopus on Greek Salad. The first courses were also delicious: Paccheri with Cardoncelli Mushrooms, Truffles, and Shavings of Parmesan Cheese, Spaghetti Carbonara with Fresh Tuna Tartar, Spaghetti Chitarra with Blue Crab and Cherry Tomatoes. The second courses, based on fish, were equally delicious: Baked Monkfish Gratinated in the Oven and Seared Tuna with Soy Vegetables. To conclude the meal, a Mandarin Sorbet and Sporcamusi, kindly offered by the owner, Mr. Maria, as a birthday present for my brother-in-law, who blew out his candle with a fireworks display set to music. Excellent service. What else can I say? You'll just have to try it!

Very pleasant fish restaurant outside the tourist-filled center. It is advisable to make a reservation. All courses were delicious (seafood soup, turbot with artichokes and mandarin sorbet), the wine selection is optimal, the price is reasonable.

A refined restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable staff, ready to explain the dishes on offer. The dishes are savored first with the eyes and then with the palate. The colors on the plates represent the seasons. All the dishes are memorable, as is the owner, a smiling and ever-present lady. We'll gladly return. Excellent value for money.
