They must have changed pastry chefs otherwise the worsening cannot be explained... the wedding cake was delicious but the one for my daughter's birthday was terrible... cream without sugar inside completely dry and inedible... they all left it over... considering the high price I'm sorry but we expected much more... also because the desserts we eat from them are always delicious and I'm sorry to leave this review... but we were disappointed

Prices are average, but unfortunately, I don't think the pastries are up to par with either the location or the price. The staff is friendly, the place is well-maintained, and the service is excellent, but what's sadly lacking here is substance. The creams are very thick and the flavors are too similar. The portions are decent, but the flavor (paradoxical given the place's name) is lacking! Everything is too bland and lacks punch. For example, the Bavarian cream pastry tastes exactly the same as the tiramisu one, and the cookie remains completely stuck to the cardboard backing. The quality needs to be reassessed, even though there are some good competitors in Pavia!
