One of those spots you come to as much for the vibe as the food. The food itself was decent — solid, fresh, and well-prepared, but not necessarily something I’d go out of my way for. That said, it definitely hits the mark if you’re looking for something reliable and satisfying in the area. Where this place really stands out is the atmosphere. The seating is immaculate — stylish, comfortable, and perfectly set up for people-watching along the Darsena. It strikes that balance between modern Milan cool and relaxed waterfront energy. The drinks were also a highlight: well-crafted, refreshing, and presented beautifully. Overall, while the food was good, the ambiance and drinks are what make GUD worth the stop. A great place to unwind, grab a cocktail, and enjoy the setting.

From the standpoint of the location itself, GUD works very well. The spaces are spacious and well-kept, with outdoor tables that invite you to relax and linger. It's one of those places that, due to its setting and location, promise a pleasant and convivial experience, ideal for meeting friends or taking a casual break during a day in the city. Unfortunately, however, the overall experience is unbalanced due to several critical aspects, first and foremost the extremely slow service. Wait times are long, often excessive given the simplicity of the menu. Even when the restaurant isn't particularly crowded, ordering requires patience, as does the arrival of food and drinks. This significantly slows the pace and risks compromising the enjoyment of the experience, especially for those short on time or expecting more dynamic service. Regarding the food, the offerings seem rather disappointing. The dishes are simple, sometimes interesting on paper, but upon tasting they are mediocre, lacking any particular flair or attention to quality. The dishes aren't unpleasant, but they lack the character, care, and personality one would expect from a restaurant in such a prime location. It's a cuisine that seems to focus more on quantity and theoretical speed than on true gastronomic value, even if, paradoxically, this speed doesn't translate into service times. I had a chill and nice dinner by the darsena. Perfect when there’s a good weather to enjoy the terrace. The food was easy but tasty.

Lovely place to drop in for coffee and watch the world go by on the banks of the canal docks near Navigli. Right next door to the local market.

I don't understand the bad reviews. We had a great time sitting there, the drinks were excellent, and the often-mentioned free bag with the drink is an absolutely fantastic perk!

We stopped for a quick lunch; the restaurant offers a small menu with fried foods, poke/salads, and burgers. There's no table service; you order directly at the counter. The food is good, but not exceptional.

They only sell alcohol... I'm thirsty, but all I get is alcohol.
