GUD In Milano

Had an aperitif one evening in June. The place is nice, on the river bank but far from the traffic. The place is run by foreigners, nice and friendly, the people are nice, the background music is not excessive. However, given the prices in line with the center of Milan (7 euros for a medium beer) they could at least offer table service, since the waiters are standing there doing nothing. Instead you have to go inside to the counter and take the stuff out yourself. And then they give you the snacks in a very sad little paper bag and you can tell they are not fresh. With a few improvements it could become a nice place, but at the moment it is something that is good for students at most.

Suggestive location, the dock always has its charm. Always very busy, finding a table is for a lucky few. Good aperitif, to expand the choice of food.

Absolutely not for families with children or pregnant women because even if you ask in a GENTLE way they dont ask the smoker clients to move away. Just one time they had just ONE worker who was kind and respected the rule, at the other time they were just laughing in our face. Also the owner doesnt give a shit. (The Municipality of Milan has extended the smoking ban to all public or publicly used areas of the city, with the exception of the most isolated areas, where it will still be necessary to respect a distance of 10 meters from other people if you want to use tobacco products)

The place is very nice for taking a drink and enjoying the sun, aperitivo decent for every drink

Good fast food, generous portions, cool atmosphere but bathrooms a bit dirty. More than approved

Nice place to sit and drink a few beers. A little expensive, but a nice atmosphere.
