Restaurant facing the sea high up in the old town of Vieste. Therefore, an impressive view towards the sunset (mid-September) accompanied dinner. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was sufficient in quantity and tasted very appealing, even if there is still a little room for improvement. Still a clear recommendation.

We stopped just yesterday evening by chance, we were very happy with the choice, first of all it offers a unique and enchanting view, the kind staff, the delicious and plentiful food, reasonable prices considering the location. Thanks we will be back.

Cucina spettacolare, è raro che non ho osservazioni per la cottura e la qualità del pesce. I camerieri li ho trovati professionali e preparati, solo che forse dovrebbero darsi dei ruoli (non tutti devono fare tutto) sarebbe stato più elegante con un chef de rang e due commis perché senno si rischia di fare casino con le comande e l’ordine delle portate. La mia è solo una critica costruttiva, perché avete tantissimo potenziale! Noi abbiamo preso una frittura di calamari e gamberi come antipasto, una grigliata di pesce e un tonno scottato con sesamo e pistacchio, 1litro di vino, caffe e acqua €95. Prezzo giusto per la qualità e il posto. Da provare!!! RISTORANTE PET FRIENDLY!

locale con un affaccio bellissimo su vieste. Sebbene non prenotato un grosso cameriere ci ha offerto il miglior tavolo tra i disponibili. Servizio veloce ed efficiente. Sui piatti voglio dare un consiglio al proprietario :la pasta meno al dente, meno aglio in cucina, attenzione alle fritture. Per il resto buona qualità dei prodotti, abbiamo passato una bella serata ed il proprietario al conto mi ha chiesto un giudizio che ho esposto, si è scusato e mi ha praticato uno sconto (10€).

Guarda Che Luna liegt weit oben im Dorf Vieste und bietet eine schöne Aussicht auf die Landzunge der Stadt. Die Einrichtung könnte mehr Charme vertragen, und der Service lässt in puncto Professionalität und Freundlichkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der Aperol Spritz für nur 6 Euro sowie die sehr feine Bruschetta. Der Teller mit frittierten Meeresfrüchten ist zwar geschmacklich okay, aber teuer und klein portioniert. Zudem wird einem der Teller direkt nach dem letzten Bissen weggenommen, was als eher unangenehm empfunden wird. Insgesamt eignet sich der Ort gut für einen Apero, könnte aber in einigen Bereichen verbessern.

Non mi hanno convinto la tartare di tonno e la delizia ai frutti di mare. In compenso i gnocchetti gamberi e porcini mi hanno sorpreso. Buono il vino e il servizio. Tutto sommato onesto, ma non memorabile a parte la vista dalla terrazza.

01/06/2025: Very good pizza, prices are a bit high though for the quality of the products used. Let's say that's fair enough
30/05/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, but expect a hefty bill. The place is really nice, has a large parking lot and is spacious inside. The service is fast and the staff is very friendly. The pizza was a little disappointing in terms of value for money. Let's start with the price, a margherita eight euros. From my point of view, in general, the concept of pizza that was born as a cheap dish is being distorted. Then there are the gourmet ones, which are another thing. But the classic pizzas, I expect them to always have a "popular" price. Among other things, at that price, I would have expected a perfect pizza, I know it's a matter of taste, but I objectively noticed too much acidity. However, eight euros plus service I consider an exaggeration. The drinks are normal, the beer is good. As already said, the place, on the other hand, is very stylish, cheerful and tastefully decorated. The service is really good quality, attentive but not intrusive. Very pleasant. I will return but only for special occasions.

29/05/2025: We had a really good time, the outside room was beautiful, sheltered from the sun and cool with a sea view. Excellent food and service, we will definitely be back!
10/05/2025: The Old Stable: Where Weddings Don't Make Dust Ok, let's put it this way: facing a wedding dinner is often an act of courage that requires strategic reserves of patience and the ability to simulate interest for hours. I'm usually a "crazy ball", let's say it openly! But today, at the "Vecchia Stalla" (and yes, the name makes you think of anything but wedding banquets based on fish with a sea view, and here is the beauty and the first comic point!), something unexpected happened. The fish-only menu was already a good sign: goodbye, kilometric rounds of mixed meat and greasy first courses that knock you out after two courses! Here we went for cleanliness, the flavor of the sea. And what a flavor! Everything, but I mean everything, was really very good. The fish was fresh, the preparations were carefully prepared, in short, the taste buds were grateful and did not feel weighed down for the next 48 hours. And the view? Wonderful, it almost made you feel guilty for looking at the plate instead of at the infinite blue out there. A real show. But the real, unexpected, sensational strong point? The speed! My goodness, these went like missiles! Dishes that arrived and disappeared from the table with a synchronicity that is miraculous for a wedding. No embarrassing downtime, no blank stares waiting for the next course, no "now what do I do for the next 40 minutes?". No, here was a continuous stream of goodness whizzing by. Fortunately, I add, because my tolerance for wedding boredom has its well-known limits, and today they have not been tested in the slightest. On the contrary. In summary: a wedding lunch at the "Vecchia Stalla" is the perfect solution for those who love newlyweds, good food (excellent fish!) and breathtaking views, but have a serious, very serious allergy to weddings that last as long as a Homeric epic. Impeccable service, standing ovation food and a speed that gets you back on track in an instant, ready for... the post-prandial nap not on the napkin. Highly recommended...
