On the first day it opened, my dad took the whole family to lunch at Grotta Azzurra. I was a little girl, and since then I've been returning regularly for dinner at this historic pizzeria in Monza. The pizza is excellent, and the mussels are among the freshest I've ever tasted! The prices are fair, and the service is always attentive and friendly. Well done!!! Flavia

If I'd only had the pizza, I couldn't give it less than a 5, but unfortunately I also tried the fish entrees. For that price, I expect more. But the pizza was fabulous. Bravo to the pizza chef.

I often eat at Grotta Azzurra in Merate, and overall the experience has always been very positive. The pizza is phenomenal, and the place is very popular, so it can be a bit chaotic at peak times. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, especially the girl at the cash register, who is extremely helpful. You can choose from pizza, meat, and seafood: I'm personally a fan of their spaghetti with clams, scallops, and grilled calamari. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
