Grotta azzurra 3 In Verona

The pizza is excellent and the house wine is also good. I went there at a time when there were a lot of people, so for the food and my habits, the quality was excellent but the portions were small, but still recommended.

We came yesterday, 15 of us, after the Verona Half Marathon, with a reservation at 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, service started about an hour later, with very slow orders and the dishes arriving. Considering the size of the restaurant and its proximity to the stadium, we would have expected better organization on such a predictable day. The delay caused inconvenience: some of us had to rush out to avoid missing the train. We left our tables at 3:30 PM. The food was decent, but requests made when ordering were not always honored. On a positive note, we were able to spend more time together!

A classic place, the pizza was really good, though the mixed fried fish appetizer wasn't so good. Friendly staff.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Very spacious inside and plenty of parking outside.

Historic pizzeria near the stadium. Spacious restaurant with young, fast, helpful, and friendly staff. Ideal for business dinners/birthday parties given the spacious space. The pizza is delicious, one of the best; also excellent for a quick, super-affordable lunch. Highly recommended!

Very noisy place; we had to wait an hour to be seated and then over 25 minutes to be served. Their pizza is their strong point, but the rest of the food is not. The fried calamari was awful, very oily, and the mussels were just average. The wait between courses was endless; you get bored waiting. The waiters were young and friendly but not very experienced. The kitchen was incredibly slow for such a large place, and the noise from the other diners was unbearable. Suitable for families with children, but not expecting anything exceptional. It's a very popular and noisy spot on the outskirts of Verona's city center.

Good pizza with good ingredients, friendly staff, it's not a real Neapolitan pizza, but it's of excellent quality
