Had lunch today, November 9, 2025... everything was perfect and even some slight flaws, due to the very young age of the staff, were far surpassed by their "savoir faire"... excellent value for money... what can I say... it was worth our trip even though we live in Bernareggio, MB

had a lovely dinner here! The food was really amazing - we had broccoli soup for starters and mains were porcini mushrooms with mash potatoes and salmon trout. One of the best mushrooms I’ve ever had! Besa also provided such warm and excellent service. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

We went to this restaurant for a Sunday lunch with friends during our weekend in Lessinia. They reserved a small room upstairs for us, a very beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, especially for groups. We ate very well; the ingredients were excellent, and we really appreciated the respect for tradition and the local area. The wine cellar is well-stocked. Overall, excellent value for money. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back!

My husband and I visited Groto for the second time. After sitting outside on the beautiful terrace in August and enjoying an excellent meal, this fall we dined in the stylish, lovingly decorated interior, which radiates authenticity! The service was among the best I've ever enjoyed (and there have been many...), every wish is fulfilled without complaint, and the entire staff is completely competent. The food is an experience! If you enjoy being surprised by a sophisticated menu, you'll find it here for a truly delicious experience! The menu is modern, with many different combinations, where every dish exudes creativity and perfection. The wine list is very extensive and features many excellent wines, all at very reasonable prices! We had a long journey, but we came back anyway, as Groto is an integral part of our Valpolicella vacation! Thanks to the entire team, you are fantastic! See you next time

Visiting Grotto de Corgnan for the first time was an amazing experience. It is cosy and welcoming, with a warm, rustic feel. The food is homemade and full of local flavor—especially the pasta and meat dishes. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The locally sourced wine matched the food really well. It's a relaxed restaurant, featuring delicious dishes and it is somewhere to enjoy a special meal. buonissimo!

Wow wow wow! Groto is the place for a local seasonal experience with high quality delicious courses that highlight the fantastic food and wine of Valpolicella. We came for a celebratory dinner and were welcomed with kindness and clear expertise. The staff is very joyful and passionate. We enjoyed the five course degustation with the wine degustation paired with each course (amazing value for the quality and connection to local winemakers). Our favorites were the fichi antipasti, tortelli primi, and Farone secondi. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine well and be wowed in all categories. Thank you Groto!

The food was truly excellent, and the place is beautiful. It's a shame the service ruined the experience: incredibly long waits, unavailable dishes announced only upon arrival, and multiple incorrect orders. In the end, when we pointed this out (without anyone asking), the manager preferred to argue and prove she was right... The team is very young and inexperienced, and we understand that, but it's clear that management isn't providing the support and guidance needed to allow them to serve customers at the same level as the kitchen. We live five minutes from the restaurant and are sorry to say we won't be returning.

Excellent food, excellent service, a relaxed atmosphere, and all this near the tourist hotspot of Lake Garda. Why aren't there more restaurants like Groto? Dear Groto team, please keep it up! Exactly so!
