We only used the restaurant for Christmas Eve lunch. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food was exceptional. We were very satisfied!

The room is dated, with slightly old furniture. The bathroom is also a bit dated, and the soaps smell a bit strong. Overall, I have to say it's not bad. The towels and sheets were fresh and clean. There was a tea kettle with cups, tea bags, and sugar. There was also a perfectly working mini-fridge. The double bed was comfortable, and the room was warm, given that it was 40 degrees outside. The price/quality ratio was competitive. There's clearly room for improvement, but you can't have everything in life...

Location and staff where very good but it's mentioned in the reviews that there is an air conditionier. However the one there is the fixed one beside bed that is compared to a fan .. definitely not an air-conditioner , that striked us at 39 degrees.. As well I dont recommend the food from the restaurant

Very good location! Excellent food and good beer!!! The staff is fantastic, bravo, they do a great job! But the rooms... Unfortunately, there's rarely any hot water for showering!

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was an alright place for a short stay. This place is a restaurant where the hotel rooms are upstairs. The basics were provided but the hotel rooms definitely need some refurbishment. There should be more lighting in the room but it’s good that the room is cleaned. Parking (paid) is very secure in a garage so a good place to stay if you need parking. Breakfast was okay, options were quite limited but does the job for the morning. If you’re looking to go Bellagio and have a car, you can drive to Varenna (15/20mins) and take your car in the ferry from Varenna to Bellagio instead of driving all the way there (we were not aware that the ferries also allow cars)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff deserves 5 stars – they were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help me when I accidentally left my AirPods in the room. Thanks to their quick and friendly support, I was able to get them back without any stress. The location also deserves 5 stars: very convenient and easy to reach everything I needed. The room was comfortable and clean, definitely a solid 4 stars. Overall, I’m very grateful for the excellent service and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

18/12/2025: During a lunch break, like others, I decided to order a pizza delivery. A friend recommended it here. He'd always raved about it, especially because of its owner, "Mimmo." Quality pizza, standard delivery. I was pleasantly surprised. A bonus also goes to the very friendly and helpful pizza delivery guy.
18/12/2025: Pizzeria Mar Rosso offers a high-quality, balanced pizza with carefully selected ingredients and a light, fragrant dough. The delivery service deserves special praise, often overlooked but here elevated to a true extension of the dining experience. The delivery man demonstrated rare professionalism: punctual, courteous, and attentive. The pizza arrived in impeccable condition, still fragrant and fragrant, a sign of care that doesn't end in the kitchen but accompanies the product all the way to your door.

16/05/2025: Nonostante abbiamo la casa in valle da anni non eravamo mai stati qui. Su suggerimento positivo di amici abbiamo provato la trattoria oggi, venerdì, con il menù lavoro (13 euro: primo, secondo contorno acqua e caffè). Abbiamo preso degli ottimi gnocchi caserecci con crema di parmigiano. A seguire mio marito polenta grigliata con taleggio e uovo all’occhio di bue (ottimo) ed io polpo, gamberi e patate. Quest’ultimo devo dire “ni” era un po’ scondito e duretto. Proprietarie gentilissime e locale pulito. Sicuramente ci torneremo.
