I give 4 stars out of 5 not for a concrete lack, but simply because I have not yet had the opportunity to try the attached restaurant. However, the experience I had in the delicatessen and butcher's shop was more than enough to give me a very positive idea of ​​the overall quality of the business. The meat is always fresh, well selected and of excellent quality, as are the delicatessen products, which offer an interesting and well-curated variety. The staff was kind, helpful and competent, helping to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The prices are absolutely affordable, considering the quality offered, and the environment is clean, tidy and well managed in every aspect. While waiting to be able to evaluate the restaurant part, I still feel like strongly recommending this business, which already stands out for its efficiency, care and quality.

I haven't been back to this butcher's shop with grill for years and thank goodness I'm back. Simple and welcoming environment. Staff always polite and humble. Starters different from the usual I recommend the sheep and pork kebabs, really excellent beef meatballs. Also good in sauces. Another dish that I would recommend is ribs. Excellent meat, tender like butter and delicate in taste. Come back whenever you want.

A welcoming place with a pleasant atmosphere, the space is not overly large but well-maintained. The staff was always helpful, attentive, and very kind, helping to make the experience even more positive. The food was truly delicious, with an excellent selection of meats, well-cooked and flavorful. The bill was also fair, with affordable prices and in line with the quality offered!

Fantastic for a piece of meat! Large range of different cuts of meat. Extensive affordable wine list and super friendly service. The baked potatoes were also finger licking good!

A Taverna intru u vicu Restaurant

22/08/2025: On our way back from Paola, we decided to try this restaurant in the ancient village of Belmonte. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We took the chef up on a suggestion, and he prepared an excellent pacchero with amberjack. The price was perhaps a little steep...but you pay for quality food.
18/08/2025: I dined at Taverna Intru u Vicu with a group of friends. Let me start by saying that the location is stunning: both the terrace and the alleyway will surely provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The service was kind and friendly, without being intrusive, and the owner and waiter made us feel at home. The house wine, served during dinner, was also excellent. As for the menu, the owner's innovation was much appreciated. No dish was banal, and the flavors were well-balanced. The tuna on tomato steak and the pickled tuna (€16-18) are definitely worth trying as appetizers. I personally ordered the mixed fried fish (€22), which was good, fresh, and crispy, but perhaps a bit small for a main course. In conclusion, absolutely recommended for those looking for an unconventional dinner in an excellent location. For eight of us, with four appetizers, eight courses, wine, drinks, and two shared desserts, we spent about €50 each.
