Top recommendation! We spent a week with Alexander and his family for the second time and felt really comfortable again. Great apartments, breathtaking views, right next to the forest with beautiful paths. We brought bacon from the farm again, yummy. We are already looking forward to the next time

Very nice restaurant with delicious organic food. Top hospitality, very attentive and the whole family warm. The farm dog (Mimi) is playful. We are here with the van and are allowed to spend the night here. Anytime again 🫶 highly recommended.

We stayed with Alexander and his family on the farm in a holiday apartment for about 2 weeks.
The apartment is reasonably equipped for hiking tourists. The location and the view are phenomenal.
But even more spectacular than the view of Meran and the surrounding mountains are Alexander's cooking skills. At this point you have to describe what Alexander is doing here as art. Regional, seasonal and the epitome of sustainability... and incredibly tasty, you will be treated to a mix of a family feel-good atmosphere and upscale gastronomy.
Please keep it up, the evenings with you will be remembered as some of the highlights of our vacation in South Tyrol. Thanks!

There is a purity to this restaurant that is truly special. The ascent alone is exciting. Upon entry, there is smoke and warmth, a gentle greeting, and an irresistibly beautiful and calm dog. It is like entering someone’s home, rustic and lovingly maintained. The food is unfussy and traditional, but made with care and seasoned very well. Understated and elegant simplicity prevail. Dietary restrictions are accommodated, though it is most enjoyable to simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the day’s set menu. Very memorable.

Anyone who stays overnight with Alex and his wife at the Greiterhof will experience an explosion of the senses. The view is fantastic, whether over Meran or the surrounding mountain landscapes.
The food is a composition of old South Tyrolean traditions and wonderful gifts from his farm and garden. His hospitality is second to none. A 20/10
We'll be back, definitely and we're already looking forward to it.

Went there spontaneously and were surprised at how beautiful it is there. We only ate a small dessert option there and will definitely come back.

Raggiungibile a piedi per un percorso di circa tre quarti d'ora da Castel Verruca, però sull'asfalto o in auto offre un panorama sumerano e la valle davvero molto bello l'atmosfera è l'arredamento molto tradizionali e curati ed il menù combina la traduzione con gusti innovativi come ad esempio le tagliatelle di Melissa con mallo di noce verde lasciato a macerare. Ottimi e rinfrescanti i loro succhi e sciroppi fatti in casa e la birra ambrata Greiter
