Greco Romano In Roma

What a great experience! I had lunch there for the first time this past Saturday with an experienced friend. She ordered 'the usual' and it was the best of the staples: olives, tzatziki, souvlaki and a Greek white wine. I had such a great time that I forgot to take photos. For anyone who loves Greek food, it's a great showcase of how Roman tendencies have little but delicious influence on the cuisine! The only reason I've left it at 4 is that the patio on the street is a little breezy, and the plastic barrier a little flappy/spooky, when cars whiz by.

Truly fantastic! My mom and I just had dinner. Unique and authentic dishes, made with love for the kitchen and the palate! Try it and believe it! Chef Charalampos's passion for Greek cuisine is fully demonstrated when he cooks his hearty and refined Greek dishes! A heartfelt thank you to him, for his help in the kitchen, and to his young and very professional staff. Every waiter demonstrated elegant kindness, both in their manner and in their conversation with us! Thank you because you too do an important job in contact with customers. My mom and I thank all of you for the unique hospitality, along with a welcoming atmosphere, which makes it an experience we absolutely must repeat. Greek cuisine from a restaurant, not like the ones in seaside taverns. Excellent service and presentation. Perhaps the price is too high for simple Greek dishes, but rents are high in Flaminio.
