We went for dinner by chance, on a Monday night. The quality of the food is really excellent, the best fried fish I have ever eaten. We waited a bit but the place was really busy and we arrived late so it is absolutely understandable. If we happen to be in Arenzano again we will definitely return. I am in a wheelchair and the place is perfectly accessible.

I had a good time. I would stay here again. An appetizer and 2 pizzas. Good bulk wine, craft bottled beer. Super positive aspect: the service. 8.30pm on Saturday.

Non potevamo trovare posto migliore per il pranzo del 2 maggio , una scappata veloce dalla routine milanese e siamo finiti qui ! Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene , i piatti erano gustosi e la mia carbonara di mare con pesce spada e tonno era proprio quello che mi aspettavo da questa giornata ! Il fritto misto è una porzione per una persona , quindi da valutare se siete in un gruppo da più di 2 .. dolci spettacolari perché il tiramisù ha rubato il mio cuore , ma anche la cheescake merita uno dei primi posti ! Inoltre vorrei dire che la proprietaria ci ha trattato con i guanti, una Signora con la S maiuscola , da apprezzare e da seguire come esempio per un ottima gestione di un locale simile!

A modern restaurant on the Arenzano seafront overlooking the beach. Large and very bright environment, high ceilings and good general lighting and acoustics. Mainly seafood dishes, well presented and prepared in a simple and tasty way. Wine list suited to the type of venue. Quick and courteous service. Average prices.

Beautiful location directly on the beach, courtesy of the staff and great professionalism. Excellent food with correctly portioned and well presented dishes. Excellent and wide choice of wines. The best restaurant I've been to in recent months. If you can, book to avoid the risk of not finding a place. Prices commensurate with the location and the great quality of the food. I'll be back soon.

Location molto carina, piatti davvero molto buoni e curati, pesce fresco e di qualità, personale gentilissimo e simpatico, davvero consigliato se passate per Arenzano, noi torneremo sicuramente!

We were passing through this town in western Liguria, we were expecting a simple dinner and instead the dining room staff surprised us with a 5-star service. Delicious pizza and fish, recommended 🔝

We ate for lunch on Sunday, me, my husband and our 2 boys, an excellent choice on the menu, attentive, friendly and competent staff but the food........ deserves a hello, it's been a long time since we ate dishes so different from the usual, very fresh ingredients and absolutely all delicious!!!!!! Super recommended!!!!!!!!!

30/05/2025: Nice local food but the five stars are for the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! And a sort of focaccia/pancake with pesto and cheese - masters of dough! what a wonderful surprise to find this place so near to where we were staying. Full of local people and lots of people dropping in for take away as well.
06/05/2025: Pizza with friends, the pizza chef was nice and good too. Excellent pizzas. We waited 30 minutes to order, without an order and without giving priority to who arrives first and who arrives later. The waitress isn't even joking if you're joking about the Pope's death. Instead the owner is great but a little more organization comes from Leivi

24/05/2025: Abbiamo passato una bellissima serata cenando da “Nonno Cuoco”. I piatti che abbiamo assaggiato erano tutti veramente ottimi e soprattutto preparati con materie prime di grande qualità. Dolci sublimi (ho adorato la pastiera!). Un grazie a Sabrina per l’accoglienza che ci ha riservato. Torneremo presto!
03/05/2025: Nonno Cuoco non è solo un ristorante, è un luogo speciale che frequento ormai da anni e in cui mi sono sempre sentito accolto come a casa. Ogni volta è un piacere tornare e ritrovare i sapori autentici della tradizione, preparati con materie prime freschissime e con una cura che si percepisce in ogni piatto. Dall’antipasto al dolce, tutto è semplicemente eccellente. I dolci tipici siciliani meritano una menzione speciale: freschi, genuini e irresistibili! Un vero viaggio nei sapori!!! Un ringraziamento speciale ad Ada Scotto che ormai ci ha adottato, alla figlia Sabrina, ad Aurora e alla Chef Cinzia, che con il loro calore e professionalità rendono ogni cena un’esperienza unica per grandi e piccini. Mangiare qui è come essere tra amici, circondati da sorrisi e buon cibo. Se cercate un posto dove sentirvi a casa e gustare piatti straordinari, Nonno Cuoco è una tappa irrinunciabile!!!
