04/03/2026: It's true, it's an important place, and that might be a limitation, but then you walk in and everything envelops you...
Time transports you to the splendor of the 1920s, with spectacular chandeliers, silver candelabras, blown glassware, embroidered tablecloths with antique furniture, walls rich in history, and pleasant background music.
It's not "my" place, but it can't help but captivate me and put me at ease.
I open the menu and the prices shock me!
However, the €10 glass of wine turns out to be a balloon as big as my face, twice the normal volume (an excellent Montepulciano, by the way).
I smile at my friend as we choose two first courses from the many available for €25, but when the tagliatelle with black Garda truffle (generously distributed) and the award-winning homemade pasta with grapes, blueberries, and crispy pancetta arrive, we can't help but share a stunned grimace.
Mrs. Sabina (I hope I'm not mistaken) is the added value.
She loves her job; she advises, describes, and accompanies you throughout the evening, but always...on tiptoe.
In the end, when you've truly had a great time, even the cost becomes secondary.
You've treated yourself to an experience, a "pampering" that will remain in your memory.
23/02/2026: Loved absolutely everything in here!
