Came in today with a friend of mine, the store was still closed yet we were seated. The waitress was very kind, polite, and had good manners. The fact that this restaurant is family owned makes it so underrated. Anyone that visits Palermo should try this restaurant. I ordered the “ravioli di cernia alla mediterranea” which was delicious. Highly recommended.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. We sat outside, and from around 9:30 p.m. onwards, the street next to the terrace was busy and very noisy. So, inside is the better spot.

We stopped in on the way to a night at the opera. My wife had a fish dish she is still raving about. I had veal which was absolutely delicious. Family run with Mom and Dad cheffing out in the kitchen. Wonderful service - the waitresses were sweet and very friendly.

Trattoria serving traditional Palermo cuisine, expertly prepared! We ate wonderfully, with an extensive menu and prices rarely found in restaurants these days. Appetizers were served quickly, and first courses were truly delicious. The waiters and Mimmo were professional and friendly. Make a reservation to ensure you get a table; it's not easy; the place is often full, so you need to call well in advance. It's definitely a place we'll be returning to!

Gran comida, a un precio muy razonable y gran elección para el miembro intolerante al gluten del grupo. Lo único negativo fue la falta de postres ya que se habían quedado sin todas las opiniones que no fueran una. Recomendaría a cualquiera sin gluten o no.

02/10/2025: They welcome customers with courtesy, the food is excellent, and the wine is equally good. The prices are slightly higher than those of the island's competitors, but the quantity justifies this.
30/09/2025: I thank Francesco and his two chefs for creating two seemingly simple dishes that are decidedly classy, ​​thanks in part to the excellent quality of the ingredients. I'm happy to pay for quality, which is lacking in many restaurants... spending a little more is fine if the result is what we experienced. Trattoria Sant'Ambrogio

16/10/2025: Fantastic, casual setting with open air terrace with ocean view. Food was incredible - pasta portions were quite large, on portion was enough for 2 kids for sure. The hostess was very friendly, great guide and had a top sense of hospitality and care. Highly recommend.
16/10/2025: This place was amazing! If you’re after some true authentic Italian seafood, somewhere that’s quieter, come here! I order the sword fish cherry Tomatoe pistachio pasta - absolutely amazing! Also try the deep fried calamari and salad cooked to perfection, highly recommend.
