I was in the company of friends, we chose tasting menus, meat/fish.
Beautiful location with unique pieces of furniture, excellent wine, I honestly expected something more from the food, good, but in my opinion something is missing that makes you say Wow!! in short, normal food

A little gem in the Friuli plain. In a village of a thousand souls, a hidden restaurant with truly unique connotations, with a location surrounded by greenery and rooms characterized by a very particular and very welcoming design. The owners, Marta at the stove, with her husband, and Federica in the dining room are a certainty: very particular dishes (and non-minimalist portions) with refined and quality ingredients, elegantly plated. Certainly in such a varied and original gastronomic schedule there are memorable dishes and others a little less so, while keeping in mind that all satisfy the curiosity of those sitting at the table. The black Venere rice with burnt heart and truffle is spectacular, one of the most interesting and iconic dishes of the restaurant. Good wine cellar with an eye to France. Price certainly adequate for the quality and research necessary to create the dishes, the excellent service and the beauty that I underline of the restaurant.
I don't give the fifth star for just one reason: the desserts are certainly unique: well prepared, less original than the other courses, and in my (subjective) opinion they are excessively "creamy and creamy", too substantial and certainly served in overly abundant portions.
I would suggest, to end the very interesting exploratory journey that you make by choosing a tasting or complete menu, to arrange to conclude the meal... when you are even a little full..., a bis or tris, or quadris of small, small tastings of modest portions that arouse curiosity as a whole.
On the palate, at that point in the meal, you only need to have very little (but of quality) to be satisfied and give the fifth star.
I personally consider everything else to be truly close to perfection. Well done.

Dopo due anni siamo ritornati qui a pranzare, la location è sempre bellissima e molto molto curata, servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione accompagnato da del vino rosso. Prezzo nella norma. 👏👏👏
