Found Osteria Grandma by chance as I don't frequent the area regularly. A lunch of meze and pasta all'arrabbiata that made us want to come back to taste the other proposals on the menu which includes Italian cuisine and specialties from other shores of the Mediterranean. Simple and welcoming place, attentive service, food enjoyed outdoors on an early spring Saturday. A more than positive experience, definitely worth trying!

The idea of ​​a fusion of Roman and Greek/Near Eastern cuisine is not bad. The thing I liked the most though were the fried potatoes! Perhaps the best I have ever eaten. Honest prices. Friendly and helpful staff. You can also park quite well (sidewalks). I'll be back to try the rest

Osteria Grandma is a regular stop for going out to eat! They offer traditional Italian dishes and dishes inspired by other traditions. The place is very beautiful, you will be greeted by excellent music and soft lights. Furthermore, it is a place that organizes evenings aimed at sensitive topics which are always accompanied by excellent music. It is run by young guys, with a great desire to give their best and make you feel at home. Exceptional!

Locale nel cuore del Quadraro e così particolare non te lo aspetteresti. Si beve, bene, e si mangia altrettanto. Cose fuori dell'ordinario, da qualcosa romano come i carciofi gli gnocchi il baccalà la misticanza i rigatoni i bucatini a piatti levantini, come scrivono giustamente nel loro menù, tipo gyros hummus felafel dolmades e chi più ne ha più ne metta. Abbiamo assaggiato un mujaddara, risotto con lenticchie, veramente sapido e gustoso, crostini felafel hummus e non ci siamo fatti mancare neanche il classico carciofo alla romana. Il tutto innaffiato da ottima birra alla spina. Le ragazze che si sono dedicate al nostro tavolo, durante la cena, encomiabili per gentilezza e disponibilità. Prezzi convenienti, adeguati al quartiere popolare. Straconsigliato, anche per bere qualcosa di buono soltanto in un ambiente dinamico, giovane e con ottima musica.

Excellent place to find tradition and innovation. Excellent food, wide vegan, vegetarian and celiac choice! Absolutely recommended. Only note: too crowded and noisy (for us now old people) but it's fine. Update: we returned for lunch and I would like to add a star... Can we?
