Grand Hotel Savoia In Genova

Nice hotel 5 star hotel in its time but that's what makes its charm, you have a jacuzzi terrace accessible to all and depending on the room category access to the private jacuzzi in the basement for 1 hour which is magnificent, it's more of a swimming pool than a swimming pool. a jacuzzi and the setting is magnificent after a day of sightseeing, it’s perfect!! You are close to the city center and the port on foot. The executive room was large and beautiful, nothing to say, we were disappointed by the breakfast, nothing local.

Very close to train station which has trains to Porto Fino, room was big and comfortable. They have vale service for the car and take your car to the garage, but the garage is not free, you pay for it

The hotel is very nice. It is old and could use some maintenance work in one place or another (spa & rooms) but the stay was still very pleasant. The staff really tried hard and were always courteous. The breakfast was also good. There was a large selection of different dishes. Overall, recommended, but not particularly cheap, but the price-performance ratio is right.

Really enjoyed staying here and would be pleased to stay again.

Top location 2 minutes from Principe station where the airport shuttle stops, a rooftop with jacuzzi and view of the city for the afternoon and at breakfast, 15 minutes walk from the palazzos and the port. Air conditioning and comfort of the room at the top. Breakfast is buffet style.

I stayed for 3 days 3 years ago. You have a beautiful view both from the rooms and from the terrace where you eat.

When we arrived in the room, there were many hairs in the bathroom. Stained bathrobes. The surrounding streets are rather poorly frequented (we turned around more than once), the breakfast juices are out of water and the tables are wobbly. And someone who enters our room at 8 a.m. for no apparent reason. Allow 25 euros per night for car parking (almost obligatory because there is no space nearby) and 20 euros tourist tax for two nights. And prefer to eat in a restaurant a little further away because the one at the hotel (tralalèro) has poor value for money, (I ordered a tartare and was only served that, neither fries nor vegetables nor salad in accompaniment. Tartar not even seasoned Rather disappointed for a hotel of this standard (5 stars).
