I chose this hotel mainly for the price. The bed is comfortable and you sleep well. The air conditioning works, even if it is a bit spartan: either on or off, no half measures. I confirm what other guests have said: the furnishings are rather dated, perfect if you want to experience a third-class crossing on an 18th-century vessel. I appreciated the presence of two free bottles of water in the room, so as to avoid buying them at the reception for 3 euros. Shampoo and shower gel are on the sink: remember to take them with you into the shower before entering, otherwise you risk an acrobatic exit in search of soap.

Hard to get around . Quite far to walk everywhere. Air conditioning was not working. But the receptionist Joy is helpful. Toilet emits a smell. Quite unbearable when awake. Bed is comfy. I had the room facing into the courtyard. Quiet and can view the mountain.The lift takes ages to move up and down. Only the toilet,lift and the air con issue. Other than that all good.

The hotel is in a good location, although a bit old, with very well-maintained infrastructure and the room was carefully cleaned. Some of the reviews on google are misleading as they suggest that the hotel is dirty and dingy - this is not true, it is simply in the style of the late 90s/early 2000s and has not been renovated since then. When choosing it, please remember that a resort fee will be charged upon check-in, and breakfasts are paid additionally on site, even if you have chosen on the website that you would like to stay with breakfast. The breakfast is very tasty and varied, as you can see in the photos.

Pizzeria Spacca Napoli

21/07/2025: We travelled from Ireland (via Madrid) to see ACDC in Imola. We arrived late and were so hungry after all the travelling. I googled "good pizza," and these guys came up. 10 minute walk from hotel. There are not enough stars in the review for the pizza I got. I went for the "big pizza" that's what it is called. My goodness, i didn't stop thinking about it the whole next day. I will be visiting these guys as much as possible while im here. I dont know what I will do when I get home again, I suppose Bologna is only a 2 hour flight and a 2 hour train trip away. We'll worth it in my opinion. If in Bologna,make this a priority stop. Don't let the big guy at the door be off putting, he is lovely. Very polite. Keep up the good work guys.
17/07/2025: The quality/price ratio is still unbeatable in Bologna.
