Tucked inside the Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel & Spa, it blends South Tyrolean roots with a modern mindset, delivering plates that are light, precise, and quietly luxurious alongside a deep, confident cellar curated by an expert sommelier.
The room is a love letter to Alpine craft: timber walls and ceilings, soft light, and round tables that make conversation easy—more contemporary Stube than rustic chalet, and freshly renewed in the latest renovation. That warm wood sets the stage for a slow, unrushed meal, where attentive service moves at the pace of the table and the wine pairings land like little high‑fives throughout the night.
Chef Reimund Brunner’s cooking leans local but never insular, folding in pristine seafood and bright acids so dishes feel lifted rather than heavy—think Alto Adige spirit with a modern, lighter touch and less butter and sugar by design. New location for the Anna Stuben restaurant in Ortisei, all in wood with an excellent scent of pine. Choice of tasting menu or à la carte. Very special and varied appetizers. Fabulous risotto. Very good duck. Very good desserts too. Courteous and professional service. Applause to the Chef.

la sala completamente rivestita in legno è una Stube centenaria.
Ottimi piatti ben curati e serviti, La cucina rappresenta bene lo stile altoatesino con ricette complesse, ma con un equilibrio di sapori e consistenze sempre presente . Nota di merito alla piccola pasticceria, molto creativa e servita su un tappeto di chicchi di caffe.

Very intimate restaurant with only 6 tables for the night we visited. The dishes were creative (with some play on form in some course) and the execution was perfect on the night we visited. Based on the atmosphere and food alone, we were surprised that it has not acquired its second star. While the wine list may not be the most extensive, they have a good range of Italian wine on offer. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
