Found this place by chance on the way from Rome to Orvito and stopped over for lunch. The place has wine bottles all around and sommelier certificates on the wall. Food was excellent, the paired wine spot on and staff was very accomodating.

30/06/2026: The variety of pizzas is enormous. The dough is light, and the toppings are rich and generous. The staff is courteous, fast, and knowledgeable.
08/05/2026: Passing by while walking the Via Francigena, I stopped in for a snack, drawn by the sign featuring a pilgrim. The products are truly delicious, and the price is more than fair. The owner is very kind and friendly. In addition to takeout, you can also eat in, but there are no tables, just stools and a counter along the wall.

Trattoria del Barcarolo Pizzeria Bar

20/04/2026: The perfect trattoria. Spartan, rustic, simple. Authentic, hearty, and homely cuisine. The owners are also genuine and homely. Prices perfectly in line with the quality. I'll be back often.
18/04/2026: The first two photos are just to show off 😁 everything was delicious, the price of 50 euros per person was a bit too much, a shame, we would have gladly returned.
