Gorgeous In Monterosi

A timely stop on the Via Francigena in Monterosi, good food and friendly service.

On Via Francigena, we entered the first cafe in Monterosi. The space was comfortable and everyone sat down to eat, drink, replenish supplies and go to the toilet. We all arrived at about the same time and the clerk was very patient in helping everyone get their pilgrimage stamps.

Nice place, friendly and professional staff. Great food. We will be back.

Cute spot, easy to find, helpful staff. Maybe I had bad luck but the Amatriciana was way too salty for my taste.

We had read in a review: “Great food, the best we have ever had in Italy on Via Frangencia.” Initially inconspicuous from the outside, overall everything is very new, furnished and decorated with a lot of detail and love, large and selected wine selection. Our wine recommendation was great, and the food was actually one of the best we've had on the Via Francigena over 1000 km so far. Congratulations! That was great! 🎖️
