Few seats but very welcoming staff and great food

An incredibly warm and friendly atmosphere! The food is good (the pasta is actually very good!). We had a great evening with our daughters!

Small restaurant that makes the customer feel at home. The place, a little too cold (I recommend turning on the air conditioner before the customers arrive), holds about ten people inside and has an elegant open kitchen. The chef in the dining room, very kind and professional, as well as all the staff, offers dishes with very original combinations, but in our opinion he does not reach excellence at all with the first courses: the scialatielli with cream of red onions, lemon and bacon had several critical issues such as the almost total absence of bacon and the flavor of the onions not up to what we expected from the strong flavor of the Tropea onions. However, the flavor of the spaghetti all'assassina was authentic, although it was excessively salty. Moving on to the second courses, the cheek in its cooking sauce with mashed potatoes was very good, as was the appetizer that started the ball rolling (maritozzo with artichokes and cheese and pepper sauce with a perfect balance of flavours). Note of merit to the choice of wines and, finally, applause and top marks for the dessert: combining the olives and rosemary with the ricotta mousse is a very good idea, which gives the palate a "dance" of flavors between sweet and savory that we enjoyed it very much.

Una delizia in tutti sensi: dalla cucina a "vista", all'impiattamento generoso e non solo bello a vedersi, dai "sapori" genuini e armoniosi ai "profumi" invitanti di una cucina di qualità, dal "tatto' gentile del servizio al tavolo al "sentirsi" un ospite d'onore è stato un tutt'uno, un'esperienza bella da fare e da ripetere. Un posto in cui trovarsi e ritrovarsi che consiglio fortemente! Bravi!!

Andrea is an excellent host, welcoming and approachable, the place feels like a living room at home, small and cozy. We started with a particular and fragrant red wine, combined with dishes cooked with passion and carefully selected ingredients... A short menu, a choice that I liked, personally it bothers me to have to scroll through endless lists... I question freshness and impromptu preparation. All very tasty and above all "satiating", I was afraid of getting up hungry...and instead I was really satisfied....we will be back soon...to try the other proposals... One last piece of praise, fast service and smiling, professional staff...well done, well done everyone!

Had dinner here with my wife. It was the most spectacular meal we’ve had on our entire visit to Italy. The chef is incredible and has a great team working along side him. Props to fantastic service and even better food. I would recommend this place a million times over to anyone visiting Rome.

WE LOVE LIVING EXPERIENCES... We don't want to learn to cook We don't want to eat a good carbonara We don't want to spend our time doing something What we all want is to have an emotional experience. This is what happened today when my wife gave the whole family a gift, learning how to make CARBONARA. Smells, flavours, laughter, colours, emotions... We will return to Andrea Golino at his Golinos bistro restaurant where empathy made the difference, it felt like talking to an old friend. PS. The carbonara I cooked was delicious

Beautiful experience! After months we finally decided to try Golinos and it was really worth it. Extreme attention to detail and the taste of each course. The pumpkin flan and the cod meatballs are excellent, the cheeses are delicious and must be tried following the order suggested by the chef. The atmosphere is very intimate and the chef made us feel at home, recommending an excellent wine and stopping to tell us something about each dish. We will definitely be back to try it for dinner too! We returned for dinner...exceptional! 5 stars confirmed! We tried the hummus with dried tomatoes and aubergines, the burnt wheat tagliatelle with artichokes, the rigatoni with octopus Genoese, the Luciana-style octopus and the boiled meatballs. All accompanied by an excellent 2019 Ciliegiolo suggested by the chef. It was a pleasure to return and spend more time with the chef and his staff! We look forward to the spring menu!

It was all good but the portions were small, shame!
