We've been to this place several times, and the quality and the very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere are consistently high. A haven of peace after long, stressful days at work.

What an amazing experience! Chef Andreas and our server Nadia were the best hosts. You feel like you have your own personal chef. One of the best meals I have ever had.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. You can see the passion and love of his craft through the way Andreas works in the open kitchen and the meal itself. It's clear he has a lot of valuable experience to come up with the such a menu. I haven't had the assassina in Bari but I can already tell its better 😉 To top it off he is very friendly and had a great discussion.

Eating at Golinos Bistrot was one of the most beautiful, tasty, aesthetic, heart warming experiences we had in Rome. The meals prepared by the chef Andrea Golino are a piece of art. Everything is done with lots of passion, care, knowledge and love. It was a pleasure to have a conversation with Andrea and the super nice waitress. We will definitely come back next time we will be in Rome. We can only recommend this wonderful place.

This was by far one of the most decadent and memorable dinners I have had in Italy. After traveling throughout the country for many years, from the north to the south, I can confidently say this was one of my favorite Italian dining experiences. For anyone visiting Rome, I highly recommend adding this restaurant to your list. It is not touristy, and the food is absolutely mind-blowing. Every detail, from the presentation to the flavors and textures, creates a rich culinary experience that completely transports you. The restaurant is located away from the chaos of central Rome, in a beautiful and intimate setting that makes the evening feel even more special. The service was exceptional, and Andreas, the chef, was wonderful. Having lived in New York and traveled throughout Italy for most of my life, I do not say this lightly: this was one of the best Italian dinners I have ever had. I truly hope to return soon.

A small restaurant with a stunning open kitchen, dishes meticulously prepared and presented, featuring modern takes on classic Italian cuisine (and more; for example, I recommend the excellent pulled pork bao!). The atmosphere is informal and welcoming. A truly wonderful discovery! I'll gladly return!

For a couple of Americans looking to avoid the mad crowds in Trastevere, Rome, we trekked up the hill into the Gianicolo district and discovered Golino's Bistrot. Service, food, atmosphere, the quiet, and the taste of a lovely supper are in our mouths and our hearts.

Visited in May 2026 It is not easy to fully capture our experience at this wonderful restaurant, led by a highly reputable chef in his field. Still, I must begin somewhere and let the impressions unfold from there. This is not an attempt to assess Chef “Andreas” as his talent and mastery speak clearly through every plate he serves. Rather, this is a reflection of the impact, taste, and memories his restaurant created for us, and which we happily carried back home. In simple terms, Chef Andreas is exceptional and likewise the food he prepares. The service team was equally attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. The location also added to the experience, offering a cozy, quiet, and welcoming atmosphere. Our main reason for visiting was to try one of the chef’s signature dishes: Spaghetti all’assassina, prepared through his own refined and carefully tuned approach. Having tried the same dish in Bari, its hometown, I can confidently say that Chef Andreas’ version truly “rings the bell” but with its own distinct rhythm and identity. The experience continued beautifully from there. Chef Andreas first surprised us with a super-light focaccia, followed by a thoughtfully prepared halal version of an appetizer filled with delicious freshly cooked tuna. From that point onward, the surprises kept flowing, and each dish managed to impress us in its own way. Our dining experience was then perfectly sealed with a truly unique and beautifully crafted dessert, which added a memorable ending to a memorable meal. Overall, this was a multidimensional experience, and it has earned its place among our special highlights in Rome. Golinos Bistrot has now become an anchor point for me whenever I return to the city. Thank you, Chef Andreas, for the generous hospitality, and thanks to your wonderful team for their excellent service. A special note of appreciation as well for the educational support you kindly gave my son, sharing valuable insights about pasta-making and preparation. This is exactly what a deeply passionate and professional chef can offer beyond the plate. Many thanks…and well done.

Tenuta La Salvia

16/06/2026: Wonderful location just a few kilometers from Rome, surrounded by mountains and with views as far as the eye can see. Traditional, quality food. The pool in summer is the icing on the cake.
07/06/2026: This is what the staff at Tenuta La Salvia did for us: they not only ensured the beauty and care for our wedding day, but they did it with all their heart, lending a different light to what could have been a simple and precise service for our wedding reception. For this reason, I will spend more words than a normal review would require. We got married on October 21, 2023, and we were warmly welcomed from the first day we arrived to see the venue. The first thing that strikes you is the enchantment you experience as you drive up the road that leads to the estate, the breathtaking views you can admire from there (we are in the heart of Sabina), and a sense of care and cleanliness throughout the location, which was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our wedding: that elegance that doesn't have to fight to be seen because it is authentic. We were guided through every detail: from seating arrangements, table settings, menus, space management, plan A and plan B, music, cake, timing, and decorations. I'll just say that we were welcomed to hand over the final tableau cards and favors until the evening before the ceremony, and throughout the preparations, there was never a shortage of excellent food and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Not to mention the attention to detail with which the menu was chosen. We did two rehearsals: the first with our parents and the second closer to the date to sample the seasonal products and carefully select the courses. Yes, because a plus of the Tenuta is certainly that most of the products are home-grown, from the olive oil from the surrounding olive trees (chosen right from the start as a favor) to the homemade pasta with seasonal vegetables. A final mention of the staff's kindness: for our wedding, we had 180 guests and we were at risk of rain, given that it was October. The day was beautiful, but it had rained the day before, so we couldn't use the still-wet part of the garden. So the staff, knowing how much we'd love to enjoy the outdoors, welcomed us into the wonderful courtyard in front of the room, allowing us to fully enjoy all the spaces. Another strong point of the venue is this space itself: it feels like a small piazza, catapulting you into the atmosphere of a small village, with the fairy lights overhead, the stone fountain, and olive trees as a backdrop. It was the perfect area for the cake and the dance. Speaking of the dance, we ended up dancing in the rain, and it was surprisingly awesome; we couldn't have asked for anything better. At this point, I can only personally thank Domenico, Eleonora, Antonio, and the entire staff, who not only always welcomed us with a smile and great sensitivity, but who, even when we returned soaking wet, never once bothered us and let us dry ourselves with the leftover tablecloths from the table setting. Two final points: the venue is so beautiful that there's no need for elaborate floral decorations because it already shines, leaving plenty of space, thanks also to the large windows and the surrounding nature that takes center stage. That's precisely why we didn't need to look for other places to take photos because there's so much to choose from, with olive trees, pomegranate trees, and enchanting landscapes all around. Thank you. Thank you because it's one of our favorite places, and we didn't just bond because we celebrated our wedding there, but because it truly deserved it!
