09/04/2026: We frequent DeMus restaurant very often, thanks to its proximity to our apartment and the pleasant habit of dining there with a colleague after a busy day at work. Every time we cross the threshold, we feel like we're entering a familiar, refined, and authentic place.
From a culinary perspective, the dishes are always plentiful, tasty, and prepared with a care reminiscent of the sure hand of an experienced chef. The raw ingredients are showcased with balance, without ever losing the generosity typical of cuisine that truly seeks to nourish and satisfy. Each course reflects a precise choice, a thoughtful gesture, and a care that is evident from the first bite.
Aesthetically and architecturally, the restaurant is impeccable: meticulously clean, tidy, and harmoniously arranged. The open-view pizza oven is a striking feature that captures the eye and adds warmth to the space, transforming the preparation into a small daily spectacle. It's one of those details that make a restaurant not just a place to eat, but a place to experience.
But what makes DeMus truly special is the owner, Mrs. Tina, a bright and welcoming presence. She and her staff always manage to offer a sincere smile, a kind word, and attention that makes all the difference. She escorts you to your table as if you were entering a friend's home, and guides you through the discovery of dishes prepared "ad hoc," with the care born of passion and respect for the customer.
What can we say: for us, it's the best in the area, without hesitation.
A restaurant we gladly return to, each time with the certainty of finding quality, friendliness, and a warm atmosphere.
Superb in every way.
A fixed point, a guarantee.
05/04/2026: Family lunch, ten of us: no pizzas at Easter, only the à la carte menu, where the choices were limited to two first courses and three second courses (a bit limited). I'd never been before the renovations, even though I grew up in Corvetto; the place is tidy and well-organized, not too big. The owners are Calabrian, nice people but not very empathetic... every now and then a warm smile and a joke are needed to ease the wait... Anyway, the food was good, prices were a bit high in my opinion for the area (first courses €16-18, charcuterie board €18?!). I'll try it again for a pizza, but not for lunch/dinner with all the The Fork options currently available...
