We spent our New Year's Eve dinner here. It was an unforgettable evening, with carefully prepared and very tasty dishes. Very precise and helpful service. The pumpkin risotto with truffle, the amberjack and the pistachio semifreddo are delicious. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, we had a great time. Highly recommended!

The place is excellent, the waiters helpful and approachable. We had a first course, a second course, 2 desserts, water, wine and coffee. Everything excellent. The only note was that it was a little dark inside and it was 1.30pm.

Deludente. Porzioni scarse, presentazioni dei piatti un po’ scialbe. Servizio approssimativo. Peccato, avevo un ottimo ricordo di questo locale, spero sia stata una serata no, ma al momento non mi attira l’idea di ritornarci

A place offering typical Lucca cuisine. Extremely kind staff, they allowed us to bring our dog inside the restaurant. We had lunch with an appetizer, namely the cecina with chicory, pecorino, anchovies and tomatoes in oil. EXCEPTIONAL, we divided a single dish in two and it was enough for us; then first we tasted some excellent tortelli with Lucca ragù which I really appreciated! The gluten free version of tortelli is also available! All accompanied with two glasses of very good Valpolicella review. Price in 2 €60, absolutely recommended place for those who want a taste of local cuisine!

Bon accueil Petite terrasse Prix très correct Bon plats et bien servis Juste avant les remparts Réservation fortement conseillée MAIS … parlez italien avant l anglais… on est en Italie. PER FAVORE 😘

24/10/2024: We were at the source for a birthday and we ate really well... from the appetizers to the first courses to the second courses... all delicious and rigorously homemade, from the sublime mushroom carpaccio, to the macaroni with mushrooms and tortelli with meat sauce, all homemade , excellent quality meat and fried mushrooms made to perfection as they were once done...truly ad hoc quality/price ratio...excellent service, kind and attentive staff and top chef...simple and genuine cuisine ...highly recommended
04/10/2024: We ate well and will return, but the service needs to be improved, when I had already eaten a first course, the pizzas arrived for other people and the other three had not yet received the house starter which among other things is all cold so we don't understand this delay, then the latter always ate the pizzas when I had finished more than an hour ago, it would be nice to eat all together...
