Very nice restaurant to dine at. Nice wine list, good selection of items to select. traditional Lucca menu and a very good tasting pizza.

We went there with my colleagues and even though we were a lot, the service was great! The food was amazing, the dessert and wine were great as well! The service was fast enough but they didn’t rush or anything such!

On a short "excursion" to Lucca (coming from La Spezia), I came across this restaurant, which has a very varied selection (although predominantly Tuscan, which is no bad thing) and a good, indeed excellent, wine list. They must have wonderful suppliers because the quality of the food was excellent. My daughter and I shared the Tuscan steak menu, which was, as they would emphatically say in a barracks, "excellent and plentiful." The barracks have nothing to do with it here, but the definition fits perfectly. I recommend it, in fact, I highly recommend it. 02/15/2026

My favorite place in Lucca! 10 steps above the rest for quality, friendliness, and customer service. Excellent wine list, constantly updated menus that blend tradition with the search for quality, seasonal ingredients. Very beautiful place, and the service is always smooth, even when it's busy. When a place offers good food both when it's quiet and when it's crowded, it means a lot of hard work and great organization has gone into it. Kudos to Samuele and the staff

For Christmas, my sister gave me a gift card that included dinner for two: welcome aperitif first course second course dessert and coffee, obviously excluding drinks. A very beautiful place with an elegant, vintage feel. We were greeted with professionalism and kindness by all the staff. Despite having lived in Lucca since birth, I had never been to this restaurant—a huge mistake, given the quality and deliciousness of the dishes. A risotto lover, I was literally captivated by the pumpkin risotto with biscuit crumble, absolutely the best risotto I've ever eaten. The tagliatelle with cod in a stew were also delicious. For the main course, a slice of amberjack with cabbage, good but bland. I would have preferred something more flavorful, and rovelline with mashed potatoes, a typical dish. For dessert, caramelized fruit with vanilla ice cream, definitely not my favorite dessert, and cheesecake with berry sauce, delicious and creamy. Of course, we opted for a small bottle of wine, since I'm teetotal. In short, we had a wonderful time throughout. I thank the wait staff who, with extreme kindness and courtesy, accompanied our dinner. A restaurant worth visiting at least once.
