We ate here on our last evening, it was great. Very warm hosts, great Tuscan cuisine with excellent sausage specialties and a great selection of meat. The different cuts that are in the ripening cabinet were explained in detail and the T-bone was very tasty. The starter, Pasta Fritta con Spalla, was also excellent. If you want to experience authentic Tuscan cuisine with great hospitality, we can only recommend Il Podere!

We ended up here looking for a restaurant that wasn't so touristy - a direct hit! The staff was incredibly friendly and tried to translate the menu, which was only available in Italian, for us, the food itself was fantastic and the price-performance ratio was also great. If you want to eat something different like pizza and standard pasta, this is the place for you.

We were lucky enough to have a dinner in this wonderful place. We toured the whole Tirrenia area and this was the best place. Especially if you want to taste local dishes. Excellent cuisine, very honest portions. The kindness and hospitality with which the staff welcomed us considering that we had two dogs was remarkable and priceless. A big thank you for giving us a real culinary experience.

We had the pleasure of discovering this wonderful family run restaurant after a long ferry ride from Sardinia - and it was the perfect choice! The warm welcome and the attentive service immediately made us feel at home. The food was simply incredible: We had the ragout based on an old family recipe from our grandfather and a dry-aged steak that came straight from the fridge at the entrance. The quality of the meat was excellent – ​​tender and perfectly cooked. There was also our own wine, which rounded off the experience perfectly. This restaurant is a real gem, located away from the harbor and we can highly recommend it. We are completely happy and will definitely come back!

We knew the chefs in the kitchen from one of the previous restaurants they operated. As always, excellent cuisine, simple, plentiful, very good, light and digestible dishes. We had appetizers of fried pasta and ham, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, pork shank, fried rabbit, peposo dell'impruneta all with roast potatoes and fried artichokes. All really good. We can't wait to return to try all the other dishes. Well done
