I'm very fond of Giulio Pane e Ojo: I've been going there for over 20 years, and for me it's always been a benchmark for authentic, high-quality Roman cuisine in Milan. Over the years, however, Milan has changed, and so has the restaurant: the crowds and queues of the past are gone, and prices have risen significantly. This isn't a criticism, just a somewhat bitter observation, because the quality/price ratio that once made it special is less noticeable today. I'll still gladly return, but probably less frequently.

It used to be very good, but the quality has gone downhill in my opinion. Also, there's little staff and the waiting time is excessive. It's a shame.

Brought here by a friend from Milan, I was skeptical because I'm gluten intolerant. To my surprise, they brought me a carbonara with gluten-free pasta that exceeded all expectations. 👏🏻

What can I say? For years now, when I'm craving a nice cacio e pepe, I've been going to Giulio Pane e Olio. Top-notch Roman cuisine. Impeccable service, generous portions, excellent selection of wines, including house ones. Super, congratulations guys 👏👏👏👏👏👏

01/02/2026: We had just arrived from a trip and it was late, but they told us not to worry, they would provide dinner. What we didn't expect was such a good and pleasant meal. The service was excellent and friendly. Thank you!
