Four of us visited this Roman restaurant, and overall, the experience was pleasant. The cuisine won us over with well-crafted dishes and authentic flavors.
The restaurant, divided into several rooms and with multiple entrances, has a welcoming atmosphere: it exudes the lively calm that accompanies evenings with friends.
The only downside was the desserts. Unfortunately, they didn't convince either us or the other couple in the group, leaving the ending a bit subdued compared to the rest of the dinner.
Overall, a good place, and I'd gladly return for the main courses and the pleasant atmosphere.

A restaurant offering traditional Roman cuisine with a rustic, authentic atmosphere. Prices are reasonable by Milanese standards. I remembered the cacio e pepe being better, but still good; the pasta was very al dente. The artichoke was crispy, but perhaps a little small. I'll be back to try other dishes. A note about the music playlist, which we loved (90s alternative music), which was strangely off-topic for the atmosphere of the place!

A true Roman trattoria, a long-standing favorite, one of the first in Milan. Fair prices. The owner is very friendly, and the dishes are excellent and traditional.

Great Carbonara at fair price. Atmosphere and music are great, except for they played a few hardstyle christmas remixes which was realy wierd but i think it was a mistake

A bit noisy, but a very nice place, with many things still as they were 30 years ago. Excellent service: friendly and fast.
The quality of the dishes, however, has lost a lot of its luster: the Jewish-style artichokes and zucchini flowers are excellent, but the first courses are dry, as if precooked and reheated (too much, in fact). A restaurant that claims to be about culinary tradition simply can't do something like this. An insult to the wonderful fresh Roman gricia!

Had a fabulous time here!! Dinner was absolutely delicious and really well priced - definitely value for money. The interior was also very cosy and classic Italian style. Service was phenomenal - very friendly and not rushed at all. They also comped our wine - it had little bearing on this review except that we were very appreciative and it did make our night. Overall would very much recommend.
