Very good address, fast and responsive service, with undeniable quality on the plate!

From the appetizer to the first courses everything was exquisite. Dry frying and wide choice of wines. Fast and friendly service. Prices are normal based on those found on the island. I highly recommend it.

It’s normal to pay for “coperto” in Italy, however this was the most expensive we’ve ever had, usually it’s around 3€ per person, this was 5€ per person! We had the lemon pasta, a delicacy of the island. While it was nice, it wasn’t the best meal I had on the island. In the end, all seemed excessive with the added service charge. The view was beautiful, but there are other good places to eat on the island, I won’t be coming back here

This time I have to start the review from the service. I have no words for the friendliness, kindness, professionalism (but not formality) that I found. Everyone smiles and gives the place an air of familiarity. The restaurant right on the Chiaiolella beach is simple, clean, linear and Mediterranean. The sea is everywhere... even if the table is further inside, you will also be able to enjoy a spectacular view of Ischia which really feels like you can touch it first hand. The menu is very interesting made of seasonal products (they also have many off-menu written on the blackboard). My choice fell on spectacular calamari meatballs served on a lemon pesto and then a perfectly cooked spaghettoni with mussels, pink pepper, mint and lemon pesto: fresh, tasty and balanced. Then I let myself be tempted by a dessert perhaps more appreciated by foreigners, namely a pecorino aged in rum with an amazing homemade fig jam. All dishes are free of unnecessary frills and decorations. Well presented in their essentiality. The coffee is also excellent. What can I say. An experience definitely worth repeating and recommending.

Questa volta devo iniziare la recensione dal servizio. Non ho parole per la simpatia, gentilezza, professionalità (ma non formalità) che ho trovato. Tutti dispensano sorrisi e danno al locale un’aria dí familiarità. Il locale proprio sulla spiaggia della Chiaiolella è semplice, pulito, lineare e mediterraneo. Il mare è dappertutto…anche se il tavolo dovesse essere più interno, avrete modo di godere di una vista spettacolare anche su Ischia che sembra veramente di poterla toccare con mano. Il menù è molto interessante fatto di prodotti stagionali (hanno anche molti fuori menu scritti sulla lavagna). La mia scelta è caduta su delle spettacolari polpette di calamari servite su un pesto di limoni e poi uno spaghettone cotto a perfezione con cozze, pepe rosa, menta e pesto di limone: fresco, gustoso ed equilibrato. Poi mi sono lasciato tentare da un dessert forse più apprezzato dagli stranieri ovvero un pecorino affinato al rum con una marmellata di fichi fatta in casa strepitosa. Tutti i piatti sono privi di orpelli e decorazioni inutili. Ben presentati nella loro essenzialità. Ottimo anche il caffè. Che dire. Un’esperienza sicuramente da ripetere e da consigliare.

Place on the beach, simple but well-kept location, good quality cuisine at reasonable prices, friendly service puts you at ease. Also excellent for families with children.
