Bread and water immediately at the table as soon as you sit down, abundant and special appetizers. Like the goose foie gras although overall the appetizer with the mixed goose was truly a pleasant surprise. First courses strictly homemade, the authenticity of the raw materials is appreciated in every dish. The kitchen is able to enhance the organoleptic characteristics of the products that they treat with respect.
Fresh truffle on pasta without adding creams or various condiments that gives an authentic flavor to the dish.
Grilled meat and potatoes cooked in the ash, like once upon a time. Very good and abundant.
Very good fried artichokes.
Desserts prepared by them very good.
Satisfactory wine list.
Fair price for the quantity of portions which is abundant and the quality.

The food was very nice and the view was amazing. The service however was not great. There were only 2 people serving a large amount of tables. We had to wait about 30 minutes before they took our order and another 40 minutes before the food arrived. The organisation was very chaotic and it was very hard to get the attention of the waiters when you want to ask something. Because of this I would not go here again. Luckily the food was great, which is why I still give this restaurant 4 stars.

The place has a unique view: Orvieto. The food is a bit too strong, too much salt and pepper; good prices. The desserts are expensive.

It is a place that maintains and enhances the typical and characteristic aspects of a trattoria. In my opinion the strong points are the starters whose choice is not inferior to the extraordinary quality and the second courses. I can say that I tried a Florentine (although not Chianina) which, believe me, has nothing to envy of renowned meats. The cooking was truly exceptional (I had chosen medium-rare... Rather complicated). The former, although good, perhaps should be rethought by focusing on something simpler (but that's just my opinion). Finally, a service that is both professional and affectionate.

The restaurant is located high up with a great view. Ordered a t-bone and beef tenderloin both were really good. A tip for the owner is to change the lamps to a little cozier lighting and some music in the background would have been good.
