We had the coffee cake and a three-flavored ice cream sundae on the terrace. The cake was delicious, but the ice cream… for what's considered one of the best, it leaves a lot to be desired. Very watery and lacking in flavor. There are much better ones out there, with less acclaim.
The pastries and cakes are probably better overall.

The gelato was good, tasty, and the range of flavours on offer was impressive. However, the intense busyness and crowd was not handled well (it was a chaotic and overwhelming mess in there). And the "small" cone was the cheap type (not waffle). They also seemed to have a bizarre rule that if you had a cone and not a cup, you couldn't sit down and eat it inside. I would go again for the gelato if not for all the other stuff. There are other great gelaterias in Rome that are just as good but don't have the queues and the chaos.

The BEST GELATTO in Italy.
When you enter the place, buy the ticket for what you want: Cup or cone? Small, medium or large? then go to the line where you can pick the flavors you want. My only complain is that at times, one of the (not) gentleman who works serving the gelatto may get anxious and begins treating people in a not nice way, but if you ignore the guy, then everything is wonderful. Price of coffee is better here than in other places nearby

Unfortunately I did not take any pics but the range of gelatos were crazy in there. Every one of them tasted amazing! I had sour cherry and there was really cherry skin in the gelato. You can even find a flavour of champagne. But be careful when it is summer time, it starts to melt instantly when you step outside.

We got a voucher from the Airbnb we rented, which included: a glass of water (from the tap), coffee or cappuccino and a croissant. Nothing special about it, the location and service were just the basics.

Without a doubt, it's the best ice cream in Rome since 1890. The ingredients are excellent, and you can tell because the ice cream doesn't melt or spill on your hands! Legendary! It also has a cafe with a thousand delicacies.

Super nota pasticceria del centro, sempre affollato, disponile gentili, buona pasticceria. Per i gelati ce sempre la fila. Ordinate dalla sala interna, pochi euro in più e saltate tutto. Potete ordinare anche gusti singoli.

Capitato per caso in questo bar storico, molto noto per i suoi gelati, posso confermare che sono veramente superlativi e assolutamente artigianali.
Accogliente e storica la sala attigua. Consigliato.
