Very reasonably priced ice cream - recommend! The mini versions of puddings are nice to try too.

The best gelato in Rome. Pay first at the counter- then bring your ticket to ice cream counter. We tried - hazelnut, Bailey’s, pistachio, strawberry, mango, raspberry, straticella. All amazing.

Worth the walk in the heat from Trevi! I got two scoops - lemon and pistaccio. Both super delicious, especially the lemon. You can tell this is authentic gelato - it isn't whipped up (full of air), and there aren't any shiny covers over top to "hide" the product. It is a no-frills spot. Only thing is there aren't any seats in the area.

A wonderful place to taste ice creams, desserts, cakes and Italian coffees. I loved that they invited us to sit in the confectionery more than to enjoy an ice cream on the go. Tasty frozen creams

Giolitti, a historic bakery in Rome, is a true icon of Italian confectionery, famous for offering the best pistachio cornetto in the world. Founded in 1900, Giolitti has maintained its tradition and excellence over the years, enchanting generations of Romans and visitors with its artisanal delicacies. Located in the heart of the city, close to the Pantheon, the bakery is a point of reference for both locals and tourists looking for an authentic Italian gastronomic experience. Upon entering Giolitti, you are immediately enveloped by the irresistible aroma of fresh pastries and freshly brewed espresso. The environment, with its vintage charm and elegant decor, harks back to a bygone era, where personalized service and product quality were the priority. The showcases, full of gelatos, sweets and breads, are an invitation to delight and indulgence. The pistachio cornetto is, without a doubt, the jewel in the crown. This sweet treat, similar to the French croissant but with an Italian touch, is baked to perfection, resulting in a dough that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pistachio filling, creamy and rich in flavor, is made with high quality pistachios, providing an authentic and unmatched flavor. Each bite offers a perfect balance between the softness of the dough and the intensity of the pistachio, making it a true explosion of flavors. In addition to the cornetto, Giolitti is famous for its artisanal gelato, which is considered one of the best in Rome. The bakery offers a wide range of flavors, all made with fresh and natural ingredients. Traditional flavors such as hazelnut, chocolate and strawberry are complemented by more exotic options, but it is the pistachio gelato that often steals the show, rivaling the cornetto in quality. In short, Giolitti is not just a bakery; is a Roman institution that preserves the art of confectionery with passion and dedication. The pistachio cornetto, in particular, stands out as one of the best in the world, offering a unique and unforgettable experience for anyone who tastes it. A visit to Giolitti is a dive into the history and gastronomic tradition of Rome, a true delight for the senses.

12/08/2024: Incredibly good experience! It was fully booked when we arrived at 8pm but we were lucky to get a table at 9pm. Very friendly and polite service throughout, all staff from chefs to waiters greeted and were incredibly nice. We got the chef's tasting menu which was thoroughly delicious. The food was hearty and homemade. The wine that was included was well chosen and we got a good explanation and the story behind each wine. A holistic experience beyond the ordinary! We will definitely be back next time we are in Rome and we will be telling everyone about this place! Thank you so much for the food!
12/08/2024: Our group of seven thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The wine and food were delicious, and the value for the price was fantastic. We had a great time.

16/08/2024: We went there twice during our stay in Rome with my sister. The first visit was very good: we had a very good diavola pizza! The staff is friendly and the prices affordable for a restaurant near the Pantheon. However, the second passage rather disappointed us. I had very good amatriciana pasta, my sister had lasagna which was not great: dry, little tomato sauce, tasteless dish that doesn't break three legs of a duck... In short, really lasagna to be reviewed, but overall pleasant experience
10/08/2024: What can I say, a place in the center of Rome run by Italians with an Italian chef seems to be something more unique than rare. Beyond this, the quality of the food is very high. For me, who is lactose intolerant, it was a dream to be able to eat typical dishes without having to worry or without being forced to choose a few things on the menu. Highly recommended. Nothing else to say. Go there and rest assured that you will eat like a god.
