Giò Pub In Scalea

I ended up at Giò’s pub after walking around Scalia a bit trying to find something for dinner. In Italy, everything Seems to fall into two categories, street food or fine dining. As soon as you walk into Giò’s, you notice the casual atmosphere. Families and young people enjoying time together with burgers and food free of pretense. I had the jalapeño poppers and a burger that I almost couldn’t finish. The topper? Ice. I got a glass of ice for my Coke. Lol, as an Americano it’s the small things in Italy that matter. I really enjoyed the energy of the customers and the service kept up with a full house. Bravo!

I give 5 stars because it is a truly unique place in the historic center of Scalea... the owner is very professional and friendly, having an intolerance they helped me with everything with total transparency... I highly recommend
