Everything is fresh, including the terrace at lunchtime. With a little breeze it's ideal. The food is good, the prices are fair, the smile is extra I imagine but it's professional. I recommend it.

I’ve been coming to Lucca for several summers and have tried most of the top restaurants in the area. This one clearly stands out as the best lunch spot between the coast and Florence Cathedral. It’s affordable, welcoming, and the food is absolutely fantastic. Be sure to reserve a table—and enjoy!

Wir hatten einen dreimonatigen Aufenthalt in Lucca und haben die verschiedensten Restaurants ausprobiert. Gino war mit Abstand das beste.

Bistro complete with everything, you can buy anything, from fruit to wine, very friendly staff, excellent place in Porta Santa Maria

I've been to this place several times and it's always a pleasure! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the sommelier is very knowledgeable and kind! The food is genuine and of excellent quality! I would recommend it to anyone! Congratulations guys!

Estoy sorprendido de leer algunas de las críticas, ya que hemos ido a almorzar a Gino's al menos dos veces por semana desde que llegamos a Lucca y he encontrado el personal realmente increíble y servicial y la comida muy buena. Sin duda recomendaría este bistró a cualquiera que disfrute de la buena comida!

19/06/2025: This restaurant, which looks rather unassuming from the outside, is highly recommended. The food is truly excellent, the service is top-notch, and the prices are really fair. I'd be happy to go back ☺️.
23/05/2025: Elegant atmosphere...good food...on Saturday night KARAOKE with the possibility of enjoying the seafood menu for €25.00 or the land menu for €20.00. 06/04/2025: Siamo capitati qui per caso devo dire posto curatissimo, personale eccellente abbiamo mangiato da 10 il mio compagno aveva preso dei tortelli maremmani fatti in casa favolosi poi avevamo preso una tagliata con contorno deliziosa torneremo sicuramente
