Gino 51 In Roma

Went there twice on our trip to Rome. We had a chance to try their lasagna, amatriciana, and their roast potatoes. The lasagna was of a fair size, and had a delicious cheese crust. The amatriciana was a hit, and a must try. The potatoes were also excellent, with just enough seasoning (salt, rosemary and olive oil). The food tasted fresh, and everything came quickly to the table. The house wine was also pleasantly good. We tried the white and red, and both had a mild taste, and paired nicely with the dishes. Good for those who don't like wines with a lot of tanin. Mind you that we visited in October, outside of peak season. Seating inside was a bit more comfortable, but tables were closer together. Outside you're exposed to the crowds (and smokers), but also have a bit more distance from other guests.

We stumbled upon it by chance a month ago and immediately fell in love. We couldn't help but leave a well-deserved review! The prices are truly fair for the excellent quality of the food. In two days, I tried practically everything, and every dish gave me the true flavor of Rome. Congratulations, keep it up! 👏

We had carbonara, gricia, oxtail stew, and saltimbocca with chicory for two. Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was convivial and quaint. Worth a visit!

Location suggestiva nel famoso quartiere di Trastevere. Molto buono il trittico romano come antipasto. La carbonara è la gricia speciali. Staff molto gentile e cordiale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Siamo capitati per caso domenica a pranzo in questa trattoria e ci siamo trovati talmente bene che siamo tornati anche a cena. Tutto ottimo, le polpette al sugo, la trippa, i gnocchi al ragù e la gricia. A cena abbiamo preso le pizze, leggere e molto buone. Prezzi giusti e in sala tanta gentilezza.
