A charming and well-maintained 16th-century control station. Luigi and Karin offer a warm welcome, making you feel at home. The cuisine is excellent, using local products and cooked with exceptional skill, from breakfast to dinner. There are some minor flaws in the toiletries, which are shared among guests. The price is a bit high, considering the location, while charming, is not easily accessible. Overall, however, an experience to recommend.

I've known Luigi and Karin for a few years. Although I haven't been there many times, I can say it's a true agriturismo, not like those places that serve you two "similarly local" dishes made with ingredients bought at Lidl and pass them off as genuine. If you sit at a table on this beautiful estate, you'll have the pleasure of tasting the quality on your palate. Dishes rich in history and truly local. The price is right... in fact, for the quality of what you eat, it's even lower than many others. I'll be back, I don't know when because it's far away, but I'd be delighted.

I'm sorry because we expected a different atmosphere. The quality, in our opinion, was medium-low, the menu too basic, with poorly cooked food, and the price was average but expensive for what we received.
The garden, the location, and the service were poorly maintained.
The only positive note: the friendly staff.

We're repeat visitors, so this place must have some appeal. A beautiful property, but without Karin and Luigi it certainly wouldn't be as pleasant. We felt very welcome, well looked after, and excellently fed. Here, we can always unwind and return home completely relaxed after a week. Every dinner was a highlight, firstly because there's always a surprise about what's going to be served, and secondly because it's always delicious.

A beautiful place for those who want to enjoy the tranquility and nature of the Madonie countryside. Everything is very simple and rustic. A hearty breakfast with local food and delicious bread.
The owners are friendly and kind. The owner, a German woman in particular, welcomed us like family. She stopped to chat with us several times, enriching us with insights into her culture. We'll be back at the first opportunity.

Donna Lavia's agriturismo is run by a husband and wife team, Karin and Luigi, whom we had the pleasure of meeting personally during our brief stay. They are deeply passionate about what they do and welcome their guests with attentiveness, helpfulness, and courtesy. We enjoyed their beautifully landscaped garden, which is meticulously maintained. The property, clean and efficient, seems to have stood still in time. The suite we stayed in is located in a magnificent tower that silently dominates the landscape with windows on all four sides. The sunsets are magnificent. Thank you, Karin and Luigi.

Visited with my best friend in 2015… (I think)
I still can’t forget about the food and feeling I had from this place. The owner’s foraged mushrooms were extremely delicious, the ricotta was life time memorable, and being woken up by 🐑 and other animals crying was new for me. Loved he vibe of the place. It’s in side of the mountain range. My amazing friend did the driving to get here. The view was amazing too
