One of our favorite restaurants in and around Catania. We've often celebrated anniversaries and family celebrations here, almost always at the historic restaurant in San Giovanni La Punta, but we've also tried the restaurant in the city center. There are no surprises; the dishes are always excellent, with special attention to the ingredients and impeccable execution. The tuna tartare, the potato-crusted fish, the truffle fillet, and the excellent truffle egg are among our favorites. Impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere complete a dinner that has never disappointed us.

The welcome was fantastic, and they always gave excellent advice on the dishes and wines. The Sicilian cuisine was refined, simply superb; I love this restaurant. Well done to the whole team!

Excellent restaurant. I gave it 4 stars for the atmosphere only because it's small inside and you have to adapt if there's a lot of you. Otherwise, you feel right at home. Compliments to the chef.

The location is charming, and the waiters welcomed us with a smile and friendliness. The quality of both service and food is very high, even exceeding 5 stars. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the food. It was a wonderful discovery, and I will definitely return.

15/03/2026: Very professional and attentive service, great wine list, and excellent food. We ate there two evenings. The antipasti platter for two was fantastic.
08/03/2026: Truly excellent trattoria! The staff were welcoming and very kind. We started with an appetizer, recommended for two: authentic flavors reminiscent of traditional recipes, with a truly exquisite parmigiana and broccoli. The pasta was also delicious and generously topped. The dessert was very good! A place where you can enjoy delicious, quality food. Highly recommended! ✨

San Michele Fusion Food

20/02/2026: San Michele restaurant in Catania is a true gem. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the chef personally ensures everything is to our liking. I tried the squid ink pasta for the first time, and it was a revelation. The quality was exceptional, and I was completely satisfied. Stefania, in particular, is excellent at recommending the best dishes. Overall, San Michele is a top-notch restaurant. I highly recommend it to anyone in Catania.
