we went there without a reservation after just a few minutes of waiting. the staff was very kind and super helpful. the food wasn't only quick but also incredibly delicious! obviously the view is also spectacular

Il Giardinetto is one of those places you never forget: overlooking the lake, with a terrace that makes you slow your breath and savor every detail, inside and outside the dish. I ordered a wood-fired pizza, thin and fragrant, with fresh and well-balanced ingredients. No rubbery texture, just crispiness and authentic flavor. But I also tried tagliolini with truffles—the dish of the day—which truly deserved applause. Generous portions, without slipping into overkill. The staff was welcoming and smiling, present without being pushy, ready to offer advice with kindness and sincerity. And while I was dining, the sun was setting behind the mountains, reflecting on the water, creating an atmosphere that can't be bought, but remembered. If you're on the lake and looking for an authentic experience, with solid cuisine and a soul-soothing view, Il Giardinetto is a must-see.
