Café located before the internal courtyard of the royal palace. A refined, intimate, and very welcoming atmosphere. The mezzanine with its tables surrounded by art books is magnificent. The menu is well-structured and offers a wide selection of first courses, piadinas, second courses, and salads. For aperitivo, in addition to the classic cocktails, there are four truly original signature drinks available—I recommend the Flamingo! Honorable mention goes to the giardiniera toasted sandwich, truly excellent!

In the heart of Milan, the Caffè Letterario in Duomo bar is located in the splendid setting of the Palazzo Reale. It offers quality products and friendly staff, especially Gonzalo, who is very attentive (he even brought a pebble of water for my dog). Highly recommended for a pleasant break.

Wonderful little spot just off the action of the Duomo. The sandwich was truly excellent and the rest of the menu looked delicious. Great dessert selection too

Unfortunately, it was sold
to some multinational that removed the tables at the entrance and installed a take-out pastry counter, destroying the original atmosphere. It used to be a place for meeting and pleasant conversation, now you just have to eat and leave. We had lunch upstairs, but it will be increasingly difficult to find a table. It's a shame, another beautiful place ruined.

if you want to travel back in time, this cafe is a must try.
as it’s centrally located, you might have to wait to be seated, depending on peak times.
the menu has a variety of drinks, hot to cold, and snacks, both savoury and sweet.
the waiters are very attentive and service is fast.
