Really great oven. I went there during university many years ago, the prices were low and the quality was overwhelming. I went back last week and this bakery continues to be a point of reference for the inhabitants of the area, truly excellent bread, pizzas and stuffed flatbreads, the prices have remained average and the place has been renovated and expanded, with the possibility of eating all 'interior, very nice! I will be back to try the desserts.

These three colleagues, (Sara, Carlotta, & Manuela) run a wonderful neighborhood Forno in Florence. A short walk from the Mercato San Ambrogio, Ghibellina is a welcome home to locals as witnessed during our several morning visits. A full bakery, Ghibellina offers cappuccino, biscotti , panini, fresh breads, and desserts, (I recommend the tiramisu). Along with ample seating, it provides a great “respite” for your day.
Over our 7-days they welcomed us as warmly as ”family” and I dare say, if you venture in, they’ll welcome you too.
